Emotional trance - music that has physical effect on you

We all have a song that has a physical effect on us - sends a chill down your spine, makes your heart race, causes difficulty breathing, or makes you want to run, jump, dance, scream - whatever.

If you had to choose JUST ONE TRACK, what would it be? (please don't flame each other for tastes). Also, explain how it makes you feel (in 500 words or less, double-spaced, spell checked - you _WILL_ be graded on neatness! j/k )

For me it is

Gouryella - Ligaya - gives me a feeling of higher power. Just grabs you, shakes you and makes you want to believe there's some kind of higher being after all.

Fred Rister & Vince - No Dip

it makes me feel I am making LOVE, try it

When I'm just listening to trance I like tracks that send chills down my spine (good example would be 'fire & ice - forever young' just because it's so beautiful)

When I'm out I like to hear tracks pounding at high volumes like 'Dumonde - Never Look Back'...tracks that make me go crazy and jump up and down.

music is truly something amazing...

I really can't pick a track...

such a hard question to answer, as there are loads that send tingles down my spine, but i think i'm gonna have to say PVD - Nothing But You.

The reason why is simple, The vocals/humming/whatever you want to call it, just blow me away

C-Sharp/ The quest. As played in TE2000. Best song ever, but only if played a little fast. LOVE the buildup. Also lying by skin/tiesto remix. Fucking awesome song

Faithless- Drifting Away (Paradiso Mix)

It's just a piano theme, but it has such an impact on me. Every time I here it I just do the title... drift away.

There are quite a few tracks that really get me. 1 that springs to mind is:
Chicane - Lost You Somewhere (Heliotropic Mix)

I came home from the pub the other night. despite being late & I was a bit drunk, I still decided to put some music on. So I threw the old headphones on loud and lay down in bed, this track came on & I was like 'Wow' - I was sort of floating somewhere inbetween sleep, being awake & drunkeness with this tune playing - It was amazing
All that without any drugs lol
Just shows you the power of music

hehe alcohol is still a drug, dude

For me, i would have to say Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiesto Mix)

The breakdown, and then the slow buildup with those awesome fookin vocals just blows me away every time, even though i have heard it hundreds of time.

I know that is probably a very 'typical' answer, but the track really does hit me every time i hear it.

OMG! C-sharp the quest would be my pick number two! I'm actually hard pressed to choose, though! I used to listen to that songs for days on end on repeat. I don't know why but I just have a visual of fighter jet going on a landing approach in the middle of the ocean, about to land on an air carrier. The waters are crimson red from sunset and sky is clear without a cloud.

BTW, did you know that this tune was produced by one of the guys from Rank1?

Oliver lieb - Metro (us remix)

I know I'm breaking my own request to choose one - you're right, it's hard to choose one. There are so many emotional songs. I would also have to say that Aquanuts - Deep blue sea (pvd mix from rosemontags rave set) is just absolutely amazing tune. Everytime I hear those lyrics "At night... I walk into the deep sea... I feel the waves and sometimes I see myself floating on them... I hear weird lullabis all around me but but they are right here. There is a silence where there's no sound... there's silence where no sound exists. In a cold waves of a deep blue sea..." I just get the shivers down my spine - I can actually visualise the moment, having had the same moment like that once before. Amazing... just amazing.

marc aurel - running (dumonde remix)

absolutely massive build-up/most emotional break down ever!!

tiesto- suburban train makes me so excited i always
almost break my equipment when i spin it

Hmmmm...... Some good stuff man.

I'd go for Lolo - Sunset. When I listen to that from start to finish it's just mind blowing, the build is phenomenal, it keeps going higher and higher. In my mind's eye I can just see people all around me losing themselves in it. I'm a Christian so I just picture all these people in my church just closing their eyes and feeling God and just going with it, building and building then when the main riff trickles in, boots back off and goes even higher.................................

I'm off to listen to it right now!!!!

for me it has to be delerium - innocente(poem)

it creates a real sence of relaxation and wellbeeing.
great atmospheric tune.
