made it all rule of thirds-y (extended it to the right
but the landscape in the background's pretty obviously mirrored and the water near the bottom just doesn't line up
stuff like that's really hard to actually do really well

I dont know what the fuck happened to the Aria wallpaper but I had actually cloned it all the way across for some reason it got truncated

I gotta disagree, it's one of the easiest edits you can do. In fact it was the very first thing I did in PS.

Right-click > copy image location
Control + T
Control + V
Enter

That worked for me, saw the whole thing. Nice effect, not too hard but creative.

I do a lot of work in photoshop. If I have some time to upload I will post it.
I'm taking a class in Photoshop right now. Unfortunatley I spend most of my class time browsing TA because I already know how to do 90% of what my instructor is teaching. I have learned a couple nice tricks from him though. It's such a fucking rediculous class though (as are many at this school). For our final project he is making us do a page layout for a magazine cover...in photoshop.
WTF, it is a class on photo-editing, not layout! I'm already taking a course in layout for layout! Furthermore, you do NOT do a page layout in Photoshop! You do it in Quark or InDesign!

I'll give you some tips if you want

Clone/Bandaid Tool:

I prefer using the bandaid (healing) but this tip is great for both. Never make long strokes with the clone/bandaid tool as all they do is clone the selected area.

Another great tip:

A lot of people complain about the way the bandaid tool doesnt work properly near edges... most of the time the area will turn into a dark blurry mess to fix this simply select the area you are working on and feather the selection by 1.

and presto, its all good!
