So I Got My Copy of Tiesto's New Album...

Just got it in the mail over the weekend. Looks like they are getting smarter with how they give our press promos. My name is actually inscribed in the CD just in case I tried to sell it on eBay or something.

Anyhoo. Heres a small taken on the CD. I will provide an in depth review on Ivibes sometime tomorrow.

The CD follows the path that Paul van Dyk took with his Reflections album. Its more eclectic and a broader look at electronic music. The CD opens up with a beautiful orchestra number that sounds like it was performed by a 20 seat orchestra. Although I dont like how it suddenly turns into this techy trance track that has no cohesiveness to the orchestra.

The CD is mainly a lot of tech-trance. Although track 6 is giving heavy rotation in my car cd player. Its this trip-hop track with some very well arranged and performed vocals.

I would say more than that, but I Dont have all the track titles in front of me.

Here is the tracklist:
Album Title: JUST BE

1. Forever Today
2. Love Comes Again
3. Traffic
4. Sweet Misery
5. Nyana
6. UR < BEST TRACK ON THERE!
7. Walking on Clouds
8. Just Be
9. Adagio for Strings

It will be released worldwide June 1st, 2004

aaah, that's probably the opening track from Ultra. Sounds nice enough. please share the title of this track with us.

anything that produces sound is rippable some way or the other. play it from a computer, output it somewhere else and record it. pretty simple. there is no such thing as unrippable music.

anyway, no need to rip it. we can wait.

ooh, and I hated Love Comes Again, but hearing the Mark Norman remix live was one of the few stormers in Armin's set last Friday. i don't love it, but it was actually pretty enjoyable. typical Tiesto, getting a good grasp of the dancefloor in a way that can't be appreciated through mp3s.

Rasta

I can't fuckin wait till this comes out

Posted by douglasmc on Apr-13-2004 00:16:

for me, it doesnt matter whether its ripped or not... most people that listen to tiesto are dj's or crazy fans, so it's safe to say that most will buy the album when it comes out.

HAH just kidding... I dont buy mixes. Unless they are Deep Dish, I'll buy anything from them.

Downloading MP3 is like masturbating. If you deny that you do it, you're a liar. Everyone does it, and you aren't fooling anyone.
