Chicane - Mojave (Peter K mix)
In January 2000 Chicane performed a track known as Mojave, @ the Palladium, in Koln, Germany . He never released it and probably never will. It is an incredibly uplifing track IMO and its a shame it will never be released. Anyway I had a go at remixing it. I tried to recapture the emotion of the original. I didn't have a midi file but i think i replicated the melody.

The melody is very nice and relaxing together with the hast and kicks. However for being about 9 min long it's a bit repetive for me.
I love the average sound of it, really nice to your ears 
Also, I loved the intro... haven't heard much like it before 
seems like most of u havent heard the original version of mojave, check that out, it can only be heard on the Palladium liveset, which is available for download here on TA in the livesets section.

i only have 1 suggestion , i agree with what someone said earlier, it does sound very distorted. other than that its awesome! the melody is so sweet i really wanna hear the original now aswell btw i really like the beginning of that breakdown and that swelling type noise keep it up!
Nice. Some good sounds and some not-so good sounds. I like the birds and the stutter fx. The drums and revese sounds are also good. I wasnt really feeling some of the melody sounds and some of the strings, they just sounded dated. The song is also borderline repeatetive.
Now on to the clipping. The clipping that occurs throughout the song makes it hard to follow. My ears were having a hard time focusing on the good parts of the song, and you cant just turn it up to hear the softer parts because it just clips more. Thats what really needs to be fixed, the CLIPPING.
For a person that hasnt heard the original, I can hear the Chicane influence.

sounds really good. it could use some mastering, but it sounds great structurally. i love the original and this is a nice take on it. and actually after hearing this, id like to try a remix myself...any chance i can grab that midi you made??

Nice chilled out sounds...very much in line with chicane's sound.The main melody seems a tad bit weak or maybe its jus the poor quality of the mp3.Good job overall
