Sucks that it's on thursday though and the fact that it's at Guv, not Kool Haus.

Actually... the last time PvD was at Guv on a weekday (Wed or Thurs in Oct 2001) was an AMAZING night.. only the true fans were there and there was space to move and his set was one of the best I've heard live...

Hopefully he'll return back to that form, cuz lately he just keeps spinning the same old crap

When PVD spins in TO he is usually in New York the same week spinning for Made Events... Knowing an insider there, I can tell you that he gets paid a shit load of money for his NY shows. No place goes crazy for Paul like the Big Apple.

Well, it's probably still a lot cheaper to book him on a weekday when there aren't another 10 american clubs competing with us.

BTW:

Temporal Rhythm has booked him for a Sunday night.
BeB was on a Sunday.
BeB 2 years ago was also on Sunday.
Last year in MTL he played on Thursday.

Exactly...Paul hasn't played a Friday or Saturday night in Canada for over three years. February 10, 2001 at the Warehouse was the last time.

Who cares what they call him, as long as it's quality I'd be there! Only thing is I'm leaving early June for Europe, like Jason said, Love from above 04, 6 hour Pvd set. Woot. Although I am sorely tempted to push back the date of when I leave by 2 weeks to catch him here...grrr.

I will give PvD one more chance to prove to me why he deserves to be #2.

When he was here in November I was mildly impressed (mostly because he played some of his new tracks that I really dig'd).

Bal en Blanc.... I stood and watched him for a bit and he was anything but inspiring.

I am very excited that he'll be here - but lets hope the man lives up to the hype.
