I heard it before that tiesto doesnt like calgary, so my guess is that he probably doesnt or that we dont have any promotors who are willing to lose money on him anymore

yah tiesto is way better than j00f I forgot, you're probably another one of those guys who thinks djs are good simply based on they're ranking, anyone on this board that knows anything about trance knows fleming is amazing

Ive seen both Live and that is what I am basing my opinion on!

I've seen them both live as well, tiesto is boring same old thing everytime, pick a bunch of trance anthems and mix them together poorly but hey whatever gets you going

Each their own, of course. I've seen both numerous times and I like Tiesto much much better than J00F. I think J00F has gone too proggy with his sound, as Tiesto has also but not as much. He still drops some amazing tracks and there is an aura about him. John has a lot of skills, but I personally feel he's tapering off... but if you don't like Tiesto so much, it's your opinion. Don't go to the show then. I know the Edmonton show will be jampacked!!!

1) I understand where your coming from but Tiesto is different than most big names that just play big track after big track.
2) His mixing may not be the greatest but its his track selection and energy that he brings that's incredible. He "tells a story" with his set just liek a lot of other djs do but he does it the best.

..And I'm not even a huge trance fan. I'm more into Prog house bu thte best show I've ever been to (BY FAR) is Tiesto last June..

I think Tiesto is good, I didnt say he was the best.
There are other DJ's that are better than him but he is still above j00f.

WTF! i move to calgary and was excited that i wouldn't have to drive and pay big bucks for a place to stay and now he boycots calgary! i also heard many times that he hates it here and last summer i saw him in calgary and his show was a bit shit, he wasn't too happy either, and then i saw him 2 nights later in vancover and he was off the hook and happy as hell, mine was the first autograph he signed then we met him out back afterwards... it was good! i love tiesto.. porky i'm crashing at your pad!!!
