Smiley DJ Johan Gielen @ LimeLight 09.27.01

Alright boys and girls, this is it! The final flyer and now the official Gielen thread.

Sorry Viceroy, I had to repost the flyer, I made some minor changes but changes none the less.

And Swamper, sorry about your logo, there was no room, but there's a spot @ LimeLight with your name on it (for your banner).

just in case the flyer doesn't show up...

Monkey Dancer 2

Alright this is my dilema, Max Graham on Sept 26th & Gielen on the 27th... Now i don't know if i could handle 2 nights in a row, and i haven't seen either. Now the question: Who sould i go see? Graham or Gielen, Graham or Gielen?

Gielen i believe is more trancy, while Graham is more progressive; but who moves the crowd more?

thanks for the help fellow tranceaddicts!!!

Smiling Frog

Go see Gielen man... Max is good.. but he's here like 5 times a month!.heeh....... Gielen on the other hand.. is not

Posted by TranceXtasy on Aug-30-2001 03:53:

GIELEN FOR SURE!!! He is one of the few DJs out there that spins that Dutch epic falvour only exhibited by the likes of Tiesto and Corsten. I wouldn't miss him for the world, and Tiesto on Oct. 6th. I'm in heaven

Posted by vixen327 on Aug-30-2001 03:57:

Max Grahm is from Canada...so he is there a lot. SO if you have to pick, go see Gielen. BUT, I am from Michigan, and I AM GOING TO BOTH!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

Posted by Viceroy on Aug-30-2001 18:24:

Vixen, you are hardcore...coming all the way from MI!!! Are you planning on staying till Saturday to see Corsten as well?

I am getting more and more excited for this by the day!!!!

Vital Release of the Month
Johan Geilen Presents Abnea - Velvet Moods (Data)

"As messengers of all things musical, we're boldy sticking our necks out to say that 'Velvet Moods' is one of the best racks you'll hear this year;put that in you pipe and smoke it. Assuming you smoke, of course. Please don't ask which mix is best; Tiesto, Native and Johan's original are all masterpieces. Everywhere, somone needs a little Data. (Lee Foster)

Posted by harcourt on Sep-14-2001 13:38:

I don't live right in Toronto and I don't feel like driving to pickup tickets. I'd like to just be able to go Thursday night and pay right then and there. Do you reckon this will be sold out or the price will double at the door. Should I make an effort to get them before hand?

Posted by Evmac on Sep-14-2001 16:18:

I wouldn't worry, you will get in no problem. The ticket price wont go up that much at all.

Posted by Durafei on Sep-16-2001 16:26:

I have a question...
Has anyone tried to cross the border recently at Detroit and Windsor? My friend and I are driving up for Gielen, but are not sure of what customs is like now. So if anyone has been through there lately...let me know.
