ATB - In Silence

i'll get flamed for this even though it's just going to be an honest review so here goes

i was listening to the new ATB album and i think it's quite good overall, it's quite an improvement over his earlier work...though nothing completely cheesy and mainstream stands out...as well as nothing completely groundbreaking, there is still that slightly cheesy ATB feel as one would expect from all of the tracks that he produces...

[01] ATB - Marrakech
[02] ATB - Ecstasy
[03] ATB - The Autumn Leaves
[04] ATB - Here With Me
[05] ATB - Black Nights
[06] ATB - Mysterious Skies
[07] ATB - Collides With Beauty
[08] ATB - Sun Goes Down
[09] ATB - After The Flame
[10] ATB - IntenCity
[11] ATB - Eternal Swells
[12] ATB - Wait For Your Heart
[13] ATB - Circular Symetry

Ecstasy, The Autumn Leaves, Collides With Beauty, and IntenCity stand out as notable tracks on the album

note though, the album is continuously mixed...not mixed DJ-wise per se, but there are ambient sounds which blend into the next track

anyway, another good solid effort from ATB, some cheesiness is still good, but who doesn't appreciate some cheese from time to time

i give it a 7/10 its a decent album has sort of a chilly mood to it and i dont care what anyone thinks ATB is still ok in my book

he suxx
after first album with massive productions he changed his style in something like dance-comercial style which i hate
he made good productions but it was a long time ago

ATB is talented but he only produces commercial tunes...

It sounds a bit like streets of philadelphia but I have it stuck on repeat nevertheless...autumn leaves..the other tunes are ok.

I was not expecting much from this album and that's maybe why I really like it. More chill than trance this album is the perfect CD for the summer in my opinion. I already imagine playing it on my terrace for the late part of a barbecue.

Some very solid tunes (Here with me, After the flame, IntenCity) teamed with some catchy melodies (Sun goes down, Cyrcular symetry) and some nice vocals (Ecstasy, Marrakech) results in a very cool album. Recommended.

whats with the abandoned gas station? I fail to see the connection with that and ANYTHING remotely to do with ATB other than him not being able to afford a better photo shot and pawning his friend to take a picture for him with his canon powershot he got for christmas
