progressive trance! airwave style! perfect travelling music! be sure to get the long versions though and not some crappy edits!

examples

airwave - escape from nowhere
airwave - alone in the dark

stuff like that!

The old GDJB sets... I love the G&D GDJB sets, especially.

Some random sets I have in my car... Can't really remember as none of them is marked..

when i went to montreal i remember my favourite song was
Chemical Bro's - Star Guitar

whenever that came on i'd just stare out the window of the bus and watch stuff go by,like the music video.

probably some earlier pvd stuff would be good too.

Carl Cox - U60311 Techno Division Vol. 3

A Higher State of Euphoria CD2

Nothing like hearing Solange - Messages , Tilt - I Dream followed bt PvD and BT - Namistai whilst lying back on an evening flight out of Heathrow watching the sunset, and sipping on a glass of champagne

I always pack PVD's Global & Politics of Dancing..

Doesn't matter, whatever happens to fancy me at the moment...

The second track in a set from PvD. It's from Radio Oslo recorded 20.03.03. It's just amazing when driving at night. I don't know the name of this song so if someone could ID it, that would be nice..

Northern exposure albums.

GU13

Paul Oakenfold-Great Wall.

Gives u a really great feeling about life. Dont know why.

I'll just pick those that i want to listen at that period of time. Any EDM that I like will do unless I'm to tune to local radio stations (mainstream pop & etc), I'll get really bored.

For me Blank & Jones track "The Nightfly" best fits the topic!

Posted by SkooB_E on May-29-2004 15:55:

For morning/evening/night driving -> Chicane - Far From The Maddening Crowds, Marcus Schultz - Coldharbour Sessions 2004

For day driving -> Astral Projection - Trust In Trance, Astral Projection - Another World, Richi M - Perfect World, Paul Van Dyk - Live @ Energy [10-08-2003]

Well, if you wanna have some fun, blast Carl Cox's 2001 Essential Mix from Space, Ibiza out the windows. I did that two days ago and got people dancing when at red lights

Edit: It MUST be the first hour of the set. Recycled Loops 2 kills me

ok im an idiot. i usually just record a bunch of singles that i like at the moment onto my minidisc. livesets are great for travelling but they're shite for minidiscs as if you want to go to the next song or to a specific part of the set you can't, unless you spend a shitload of time trying to find track marks

I've got some of mine on Minidisc, although of course they must be 80mins or less.

What I do is either just stick a track mark in every 10mins or when you are listening just hit the track mark button when you hear the next tune coming in
