Grown men fighting...
After voting I was driving out the parking lot and I saw two men in their mid-30s fist fighting.
They were swinging at each other, landing the odd blow, yelling and then throwing punches at each other, over and over.
I drove over to where they were, rolled down my window and laid on my horn until I got their attention.
Startled they both stopped and looked at me, at which point I forcefully hollered out the window of my car:
"Hey! Stop that fighting! That type of behavior is inappropriate! STOP IT!"
I suspect that I paused their aggressiveness long enough for reason to set in. They backed away from each other and one of the men said, "he hit me first" to which I abruptly responded, "I don't care! Fighting isn't acceptable!".
The men parted ways and I stuck around long enough to ensure that they didn't start up again.
My good deed is done for the day. I may now rest.

For me - having someone paying the rest of their life working nothing jobs, struggling to get by is much more of a penance that me breaking his neck. Physical wounds heal reasonably quickly - a life of hell, paying for your crime is much, much worse. |

| Originally posted by Vivid Boy Business is not life. thats way too much of a westerners train of thought. I own my own business and the one of the main things it taught me is business is business and thats all it is. u dont bring it outside the work place. not everything in this life is about business and its certainly not life. nobody said fighting was a way to resolve things. But in some cases with certain people and in certain situations ur left with nothing but ur fists because all logic all understanding has been tossed out the window by the othewr man in a rage. And ps business and fighting go hand in hand, why do you think wars start? not only that but i dont think you've ever worked next to CEO's and company owners while theyre conucting million dollar deals..itys not all rosey posey sipping on cups of teas..theres tons of verbal arguments name calling and they do act very childish...man they bitch eachother out making threats and all..remember with business ur scrambling to get ur cut of the pie...u dont want to hear or see the things that happen in business..they eat you alive..its the way human nature is.. the strong survive having a criminal conviction doesnt do much trust me. Especially one in assault. Most millinaires have lots of convictions. mo money mo problems. most millionaires are uneducated as well. you know why? most uneducated people with convictions have the balls to make risky decisions most educated people wouldnt touch with an 8 foot pole cause they were told/taught not too.. |
Business isn't a fight, it's FUCKING WAR! Before RJ realizes that, i think he needs to go into a few of those meetings he could walk out of $100,000 richer or poorer just because he said one sentence too few or one too many.
