Sasha or Dumonde
Ok I am trying to make up my mind wether I should go see sasha in Toronto this saturday or Dumonde in New York city friday. From what I have heard sashas sets have been kind of flakey and the last I heard about Dumonde is that they just play some sick shit. I leaning towards seeing Dumonde I was just wondering are they worth traveling 6 hours buy myself to see, (keep in mind I have never been to New York City.) I thinking though that its gonna be pretty sweet and I am starting to get sick of just hearing house and progressive sets hear in upstate New York. I am a big fan of progressive as far as CDs are concerned but the last couple live sets i have heard by progressive Dj's, Max Grahm, Sandra Collins,,, have not impressed me. When I heard Geaorge Acosta play I had a great time even though it was cheese trance is sounded better in the club setting and was more emotional. Sense Dumonde plays the same kind of music Except a little more hard and less cheesy from what I have read the Question is Are they worth dropping $200 bucks for one night?
Well since you will be traveling either way, and since you are having trouble deciding I would go to the event that would give me more bang from my buck. I'm not sure how long Sasha will be spinning, but Lange will be spinning from 12:30am - 3:30am and Dumonde from 3:30am - 8:30am. So that's 8 hours! Ok thats just my two cents.
8 hours is a long set. Dam, you know the bars in upsate can only be open untill 2am so the clubs only stay open till 3:30am. Gosh thats alot of money for drinks, I am asuming drinks are liek what 5 dollars a a pop?

Dumonde doesn't come to these parts (NYC, or Toronto, or anywhere else in North America for that matter) very often. The next time (if there is one) will most likely be later than Sasha's next time.

if u wanna hear sasha, buy Involver.
My choice would be...
DUMONDE!!!!!

Go for Dumonde, since u are from NY and its his first time here it will be something to remember. Not saying that Sasha wont be, but you are traveling elsewhere to see him and Sasha has been here and is guaranteed to return sometime
Wish I could make it for Dumonde myself. I have to get my car fixed today
mmmmmh.....sasha
Re: Sasha or Dumonde
Sasha rocked it in NYC a couple weeks ago. Also, Steve Porter will be opening for him at the Guverment! If you like Steve, this makes the event sweeter. Tonight in Toronto DJ Hyper is playing at the Docks. And DFuse is having a free party at System Soundbar.
I would base my decision on whether you will be in NYC or TO. Both cities will have good events. Pick your city first
