DJ Santana Birthday Bash 08-28-2004

Last year the party was held at Twilight night club in Tampa. It was a success with over a 1500 ppl in attendance. This year the party will be on Saturday August 28th, at The Amphitheater in Ybor City, Tampa. Live remote broadcast on 93.3FLZ 10pm till 3am.

Celebrating my birthday and my best friend Ambers (trancebrat) birthday as well. The party will be dedicated to my wifes and our best friend who we miss dearly, Patrick Alfonso who past away just a few days after the birthday bash last year. Patrick celebrated his birthday every year with Amber and myself at the same time. His birthday was August 20th.

I hope all of you can come out. I will be playing a full on 2 hour trance set.

First year we will celebrate without Patrick. What a bittersweet night. I can only imagine that this will be one of the most difficult birthdays that we will ever have. Nothing could ever top last years Birthday Bash. That was one long weekend of good times. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. He passed away three days after our party. A shame that such an amazing and beautiful person had to be taken away from us. His memory lives on in us forever. August 28th will be a celebration of Patrick's life. Please play Kay Cee - Escape (club mix) to honor the moment...to take me back to that moment that Patrick and I stood hand in hand while you spun that for us at Twilight. I will probably have a nervous breakdown that night, but I know that it is important that we do this...together.

I love you Paul...and I love Alison. You guys mean the world to me. A part of us is forever missing.

Patrick...until we meet again my friend. I love you.

Maybe I check this out, since I live in the area now!!!

I should be there. My debut in Tampa, as well as TATV, provided I get the green light from DJ Santana and any other higher-up I might need clearance from.

No problem. Just get a hold of me and let me know the whole deal about the TATV. I'm gonna design the flyer so i can incorperate it with the whole promotion.

OK - we're gonna have to make this one. This guy gives soooo much to the community. A good friend of mine turned us onto Santana almost 2 years ago.... and we've been fans every since. She also said that you are truly a good person... I know that sounds sappy - but from Laurie, that means you're an angel.

So is your B-day 8/31 or 8/28... the subject of the post says the show is on 8/31.... :-)

I told him that would cause some confusion. Paul's birthday is on August 31st. Mine is August 26th. We always try to have the party the weekend after my birthday...closest to his. So the party is on August 28th...in between our birthdays.


Paul truly is a good person and I will get sappy. Paul is an angel...just like Patrick. I've known him since I was a teenager, and he has been my best friend since 1995. It is one of those friendships where you go through everything together and the things that you go through just make you stronger. He has been there for me through everything and he knows me in a way no one else does. Every year I feel honored to celebrate my birthday with him. This year will be no exception.

It would be wonderful if you and your wife could come out for the party.

Thanks a million. You just put a huge on my face. Make sure to bring lots of peeps with you. I love playing at the amp because theres no restictions on what a dj can play. It's where all my friends love to go to see the good trance dj's.

BTW - My birthday is on 08/31.

I don't go out as much as I used to either. I should have kept in touch with you after that marathon music session that one night. I apologize. My life got turned upside after that weekend. I think I even forgot what my middle name was at times. I would love to have TA's out to the party. Paul and I have a wonderful group of friends so we will already be surrounded by a bunch of awesome people, but I would just like to add to that with TA's.

I think you two would love Paul and his wife, Alison, as I'm sure we will love you and your wife, Dawn.

It will be hard for me to forget that night...for personal reasons. And of course I remember you and Dawn. For someone to refer to his wife as "AMAZING" is someone that obviously has a lot of passion and love in his life. I look forward to meeting you guys one day.

This gives you plenty advanced notice! hehe!
