Armin Van Buuren - Blue Fear Remixes

http://www.juno.co.uk/IP/IF152615-02.htm

Side 1
01. Blue Fear 2004 (Agnelli & Nelson remix)

Side 2
01. Blue Fear 2004 (Scott Mac remix)

2 new remixes out on the blue fear from avb...

and

http://www.juno.co.uk/IP/IF152615-01.htm

Side 1
01. Blue Fear 2004 (original mix)

Side 2
01. Blue Fear 2004 (Blue Fear remix)

but the mix on the last one sounded to much as the original i think..

i think the scott mac remix sounds quite ok..

boy once again...these remixes add nothing to the original...why even make them? all they did was change the percussion a little and add an effect or two...really poor efforts..

Agnelli & Nelson's effort is especially weak .. when I heard it on ASOT I hardly noticed it was remixed.

Well no wonder, it's A&N after all...

I think the 2004 mix, the updated original adds some nice elements and brings it uptodate for DJ's to include in their sets but nothing more.

Solid Globe remix owns all.

Whatta??!!

How f00kin many times is Armin gonna rerelease Blue Fear and making it worse by adding along some useless efforts which i wouldn't even call remixes as they don't differ that much from the original mix(es). The remixes sound more like reworks to me and far from being good. Original '95 version and Trouser Enthusiasts mixes still remain as my fav versions. I guess it needed an official rerelease then, the "2004" version came out not long ago on Armind's (or whatevah) limited blue vinyl.

I would have survived without these weak efforts.

nothing special here. =/ quite disappointing from Solid Globe + Agnelli & Nelson =/

Posted by dj Zevan on Jul-22-2004 07:17:

nothing beats the original

Blue Fear remix? Nice typo at juno
Even nicer to see "NOT FOR SALE" on the vinyls they're selling

Posted by EverZ on Jul-22-2004 12:25:

Hmm, i still like Blue Fear, so i also like these mixes. Not that they add much to the original. I rather see those guys make some new tracks or something like that.

Posted by starglider on Jul-22-2004 16:19:

Do any of these mixes change the lead synth? If it's still got that horrid whiny riff then I'm not interested.

they all have the exact same synth and bassline. like i said all they did is change some hihat percs and add a stupid effect or two...their horrible.

Got the full release of this last night. I think the Solid Globe remix is the only one worth a damn. I like it better than the original, actually.

Yes so those sound like edits to me. Probably PVD made them do the edits while forcing them to do bad on purpose since PVD editing songs makes them bad too as I call him the king of bad edits.

WTF? Now you're not even trying to make any sense anymore. What does PvD have to do with this?

considering the full release of the promo above isnt out until the 9th of august, i fail to see how you have the full release unless it's on another label (i.e. not nebula)?! what label do you have it on? armins own label ..?

No need, you seem to be able to do it just fine yourself.
