William Hung - She Bangs (ExR ReLoad)

Hey I recently made a cool trance remix of The song she bangs by one of my favourite artists which is William Hung. It was so good that it is even on his website! What do you guys think of my trance remix and any comments on how to make it better? O_O

Hello, and a warm welcome to TranceAddict.

Tell me, what do you like about William Hung?

P.S. I believe the Production forum is a few ones over

As you can see I am new around here and have obviously missed this production forum which aspergian reffered to. I don't understand what is so funny about it, we all make mistakes.

Forum for production feedback and comments and things of that nature is here:

I don't consider myself an amatuer, therefore I'll post it here.

Alrighty then, son I'll leave up to the Mods then . . .

Oh yeah, about the "amateur" thing -- that's still under discussion. Chime in if you want.

Cheers.

It's not a joke. I devote all my free time into my music production, therefore I do not think I am an amatuer. If you believe it's only worthy of amatuer status then let me know. So far I've received no constructive criticism from you apparent tranceaddicts what so ever.

Sorry, but the "Amateur" bit means that you want feedback on your tunes and whatnot. We've got many producers who are already signed to labels posting there actually. That's also the right forum if you want to do some self-promotion.

I'll ask one of the other mods to move this thread for you

edit: Fun tune If you're really serious about it, I strongly suggest you to work a bit on the eq and other technical stuff so it sounds less "homemade". Also, it's a tad bit short, don't you think? I suppose the goal of this tune is to have a little humour in a set, so the tune doesn't really need to be too long, but this is so short that would become a bit impractical for a DJ to play it.

AMATEUR: A person who engages in an art, science, study, or athletic activity as a pastime rather than as a profession.

That would be you. You are either a professional or an amateur, so if you devote your free time to making music, it would be a pastime as opposed to your profession.

For a review....its pretty interesting I guess, but there is really no place for it in a set (that I can see anyway). The kick and overall production quality sounds pretty cheesy, but it sounds like it would fit in one of those so-called "dance radio stations" that play shit like Ian van Dahl and DJ Sammy and so on.

Furthermore, I don't see any reason to get all snippy with people who were trying to help you find the right forum. And you are joking about this guy being one of your favorite "artists" right?

AMATEUR also means: Not professional; unskillful.

Clearly, he feels that the above denotation was used instead of the one mentioned by your post.

Well I wouldn't replace this forums "Amateur" by unskillful. But since making music is not the profession of the most of us, we are amateurs.

When I hear this music I doubt that this guy is making a living out of it, so to me eXrMusic is an amateur.

For the constructive criticism, post a serious track, I think you are quite a joke at the moment with your professional William Hung track...
