French?

What exactly is french house? I have an idea that its something like filtered, funky,vocal style house. is that right? how did it come to be called 'french'?

It's the french version of italo disco. Which is the Europe'd version of disco. That's how I look at it, anyway. I could be wrong on the french version of italo part.

french house is wayy wayy more a discerning form of dance music.. usually consisting of deep, funky and dirty hooks, and yeah not forgetting the overuse of filters

french house is also commonly know as filter-house

nan c vrai j'en ai plein le cul d'aller en boite pour entendre ce son pauvre et repetitif...en france c vraiment impossible de prendre son pied dans un club !!c juste de la musique d'ambience style soir�e jet set ou tou le monde fait semblant de prendre du bon temps!! boite=club de rencontre . et david guetta mix comme une merde... enfin heureusement kya des types comme B.benassi ou L.konrad ou vitalic ki apportent un peu de peps aux soir�es...

frecnh touch is a word invented by the press, if you listen to Motorbass, Etienne de Crecy or Harry Morse (official site with samples : http://www.harrymorseproject.com), that's really good, class and funky, and completly different than if you listen to Laurent Garnier or Harry Choo Choo Romero...

No, it's true, i my ass is full of this shitty and poor song that we hear all year long...In France, it's fucking imossible to have a nice time, to have thrills and more in a club! It's just fucking music with no taste in it, it's just fortje Jet Set where all the people are lying : they can't have a nice night cause the music comes from the DJ ass (with a shitty taste rofl). French Club = meeting point with hot girls...And David Guetta is a fucking shitty DJ, he can't mix (original version lol : he mixes like a shit ) Luckily, we have some guys like Benny Benassi or Laurent Konrad or Vitalic who give some power to the parties...
