I'm testing a new server....come help me
I know you all love to see how fast you can break TA, so, head on over to
EDIT
and do a search on something.. or lots of them.. theres no time limit between searches.. I want to see how fast bottlenecks are resolved
Cheers
That was a like a 100000000X's faster then usual.
WOW much faster.....
wow .. pretty quick there..
using a different hashing function there?
faster search indices on your tables?
better database tuning algorithms?
The true test will come when there are 700 ppl online
combination of a faster CPU and raided drives
plus I gotta fiddle with apache 2.x / mysql memory settings a little more

Sorry, but sometimes I forget to restart it.. I'd have it automated but I just assumed nobody bothered to use it these days.. I plan to relaunch it sometime since I spent so many weeks getting the stupid thing programmed years ago
Swamper, will we be able to look for "Goa", "BT" and "CD"? (word shorter than 4 letters... this is often necessary)
Search by username seems to take a lot longer than search by keywords. Overall speed is still very much improved though.

Speed is quite fast. The actual search results came up very precise.
doing a search for ukta took 10 seconds
Unless you implemented that filter to stop searches like "trance," the search is broken
"doing" yields the no matches screen
