Tracks with surprisingly good crowd reaction
Alluding to another thread...
Any of them come to mind for you in your experience?
DJ Alligator project - Blow your whistle. Gets a good reaction....
In that I get glass bottles thrown at me.
urban train + adagio
Um, let's see, a lot of it depends on the crowd in terms of whether or not it's surprising
Fx Zone - Synthasia (Nu Nrg remix) - This was surprising because I spun it at a rave with a bunch of 17 year old e'd out candy kids right soon after the track came out. Crowds like these basically want to hear Castles in the Sky four times in a row or at least old anthems...there's no way they could have heard this before. I played it and all these kids were running around hugging each other, going crazy dancing.... I played it at a small house party with a bunch of 30 year olds a month later.... no hugging but drunk girls dancing their asses off until they nearly fell down. At least they liked it.
Midway - Inca - works well with the raver crowd too. I've never seen so many odd dance variations before when the track goes through the build.
Moonrush - Risky Business (arc in the sky remix) - A winner every time I've played it. Gah, why?? (I love it too, but why??)
i never heard them in the clubs or something
but i think brisky and dave -prototype 1 and David forbes-answers should give hell of a reaction when the melodies come up.
i love it don't know about the rest

DJ assault - Ass and titties

Randy Katana - In Silence (Txitxarro Mix)
That goes off like a bomb and a fuckin huge bomb at that
absolutely. The Scratch Bandicoot remix works well for me too.
Bossanova - Stonecold (Afterburn Remix) aka Agnelli & Nelson remix went down a bomb at Creamfields, i think Paul Kershaw played it, whole tent went wild, considering it isnt that widely played AND most of the crowd were trance n00bs i was amazed
deep dish - flashdance
damn groovy shiz...no matter what edm style your into you can't help goovin to this on the big system
Tisto - Traffic
Tisto feat. BT - Love Comes Again
From when I've seen it Traffic has been rather hit and miss. The Mark Norman remix of Love Comes Again has done serious damage for me, though

jump the next train
cose i think it sounds poor in a club
Push - The Legacy (Club Mix)
played by Mike himself during an EDM festival here in Belgium last weekend. i always thought Universal Nation and Strange World were the most popular Push-tracks in Belgium, but apparently The Legacy is right up there as well.. the tent simply exploded. amazing experience.
Trance All-Stars - Go mash up with "nobody listens to techno"(eminem sample)
Marco V - Godd (blew my mind away when Marco V played it at an intimate club event here where I live, whole place exploded)
Cygnus X - Superstring (Rank 1 Remix) (nuf said?)
Randy Katana - One Solid Wave (Sam Sharp Remix) Seems to do the trick quite often...
Kuffdam & Plant - Summer Dream (Paul van Dyk Remix) (one of my favorites this summer...
)
haha, yeah. I'm so sick and tired of playing that track, but people like it. The Talla 2xlc remix of Go does fantastic too, especially on a crowded night. Playing the Talla remix and the mash up back to back induced a lot of convulsions!

i dunno , i dont think there are any tracks that get s surprisingly good reaction for no reason, im only surprised when a total noob track like something from the Armada/Anjunabeats camp gets played and all the nubbies that started listening to edm start to applause/flock as if were a classic. OTherwise I think tunes really get their recognition cuz its considered tried and tested...can't knock a tune for that. But beware there are those pamper wearing douchebags that will start crying to sarah mclaughlin - no one on earth laff....that track is a total joke.
Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400
ooOOO, ooOOooOOooOO.
