The light, euphoric,I've waited for so long,I'm crashin',sweet palm in these eyes,Like a six-ton megabomb,You're high, plutonic,I've waited to this time,The force, erotic,Like a deuce from a laser storm,Despite, subsonic,Like a car crash in the rain,Your karma,it's solid,You've got wonders of your own....Ever alone, ever known...It's never felt so right, as I've never known before
The fire, the hit,Like a meltdown powerzone,Brainstormin', at the very thought of love Like a voice in a hurricane,You're high, plutonic,I've waited for so long,The force, excited,Like the light from a runaway train,Despite, exotic,Rushin' through my mind You're whole, your soul,You're like ice on a desert plain

bestest vocal trance ever

My interpretation:

The light, euphoric
I've waiter for so long
I'm crashing, sweet balm in these eyes
Like a six ton mega-bomb
The force, erotic, like a two-strum laser storm
Your spite, subsonic, like a car crash in the rain
Your karma, its sold, you've got wonders of your own
Hey my love, ever known
This never felt so right, so never known before

The fire, the hit, like a meltdown powerzone
Grows stormy, with the very thought of love, like a voice in a hurricane
Your high, plutonic, i've waited for so long
Your force, excited, like a life on a runway train
Your spite, exotic, rushing through my mind
You're whole, your soul
You're like ice on desert plane

I also think this is the best vocal trance ever...

btw, i dont think you'll ever get a 100% definite answer on the lyrics... they have been disputed for years now.... does anyone know the contact info for andy gray and/or steve sacre? we could just ask the source.

probably never will mate...but you get the jist of the song

Love this tune, I think it's the epitomy of what Oakenfold stood for back in the day. This is probably top 5 ibiza classics imo. ALso has that new order/blue mondays influence from the new wave days.

Musical genius? I dunno, but I do love:

Piledriver
Speedway Revisited
Rollercoaster
Housevisit

I guess a lot of Oakenfold work goes to his credit too. The vocalist is Steve Sacre btw, so you might try looking him up.

the way piledriver sounds and works in a club cannot be compared with any other song that i know.....(maybe the daniel davoli remix on u2..but that is not for us mortals i guess :P)

agreed.... and the DD remix of where the streets have no name is 100 times even more rare than piledriver
