New to the scene (still), need some info.

Ok I'm not BRAND new to the scene, I've been following the music and DJs for a few years now. BUT, I only recently turned 19 and the only event I've been to is LOL.

What other clubs and nights should I look out for? I only go out on weekends so Fridays and Saturdays would be the ticket. I've read that other thread and everyone's mentioned System Soundbar, BOA, and, obviously, The Guverment.

Where can I find the address/cover charge/dress code/doors open time/anything else I need to know about System, I think I'll check it out tonight. Maybe even meet some of you!

Any help you can give would be much appreciated, THANKS!

system has no dress code, opens at 10pm and there is GL usually for those free up until 11pm-sometime 12midnight...15-40 after11pm, tonight 15$ - it's seb fontaine.

as for anyother club. Boa is also good on fri and sat... www.boaredux.com <---that's there website where you can find event listings...also Guv and koolhaus as you know sat event and special event are good.

film lounge...if it is still there on dundas/spadina can be good.

ummm, sound imporium sometimes...

I don't know exactly how you will find them and i doubt we will be carrying a sign like at the airport - haha - but we tend to stick to the left back area or the front of the stage!, so i don't know, but maybe post a picture of yourself here and we could maybe we could recognize you..

tata new ta

Check the roll calls on here to find out whos going... Normally i wear a recognizable shit that says NEWR on the back... And Callie5 has one the same... but jus stick close to the forums... and you'll do fine

Cool stuff, I'll wear my team jersey from the LQ tournament I played in last weekend if I end up going, if you see some loser with the number 17, and "Spam" written on his back... that's me!

Posted by Nemireck on Sep-17-2004 23:51:

Call when? When I get there or hazza (nevermind that word, it pops out sometimes)?

I'm not sure if I'm going yet, you see, I live way out in Mississauga and public transit isn't convenient (enough) for me so I'm waiting to see if a relative brings me a car!

Mississauga is a trek dude.

I know used to live there, you can hitch a ride if any TA's from that side are coming, its hard to notice TA's in some clubs, but the regualrs as me and any others you will find easily lurking around.

Or you may see a massive crowd.

If you over hear TA, just come and intro yourself i am sure your bound to find us.

Check here for meetups and rollcalls .

LOL I didn't run away from you guys. Prog House just isn't my thing, I was tired and bored, so I decided to take my leave. I might be out for Mauro tonight (once again, if I get a car) and I'll 100% be at Armin and Infected Mushroom (Armin is my fav DJ so I'm REALLY looking forward to this one, and IM is in my top 5 as well).

All things considered I had a good time. Just didn't like the music *shrug*
