Need More Hip Hop/Rap Like This...
Lloyd Banks - On Fire
Just getting into this genre guys and i really like the big beat bouncy stuff.driving stuff really.this song is a perfect example.
can u guys recomment specific songs please? and dont list the usual 50 cent,d12,eminem ludacris etc.i like this more underground slant on things!
cheers in advance guys!
This probably isn't the best place to ask for hiphop/rap recommendations. After all, it's tranceaddict..
there are some hip-heads among us. just wait till someboddy like jessica.S can read this post
Meh, G-Unit. Not my thing, but go with any G-Unit member's solo album, like Young Buck - Straight Outta Cashville or that new 50 Cent mixtape thing. They should do the job.
snoop dogg is the only way to gizzle
watch human traffic.... the song that coop punts off.... the value goes through the roof when they gets locked down yo....
have you tried HitYoNUTS - Wit A Baseball Bat, i heard it is far more musically complex than any 50 cent album
great tune...i love it too.
all the G-Unit guys and 50 are on fire right now (no pun intended)
i know it's the usual "money n hoes" type lyrics, but the beats and melodies are great.

The Alchemist - 1st Infantry lots of nice tracks =]
but one of the best tracks this year imo is Ghostface ft. jadakiss - Run, on Ghostface - The Pretty Toney Album, wicked beat!
hehe DJ Shadow feat. Roots Manuva - GDMFSOB (UNKLE Uncensored)

G-Unit is the most commercial spatout garbage there is, not only that, but how can you claim that it's quality material, its pop-rap ...especially "on fire" ...to each their own i guess, but stfu with the nubs talkin like they know whats good etc... they don't rap about hoes and rims?? hahaha, then you obviously havent been listening to the same lamers. Those douches are all about hoes, rims, and ima pop a slug in ur dome. Here are some reccomendations if you want good rap:
Pete Rock /CL Smoothe - TROY (they reminisce over you)
Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Pt. 2
Mobb Deep - Survival of the Fittest
Nas - I Am album/Illmatic

jedi mind's new "legacy of blood" wasnt good.
get violent by design instead
and since i see yuo're into commercial shit might try swollen members, they're a little more underground at least, and they were actually kinda good back in the past.
maybe later you're ready for the real stuff
^^^^
Nothing new from Swollen Members though... man, did they ever take a turn for the worse.....
You should chill with the commercial/not commercial argument though. the guy likes something from G-Unit, and specifically asked for stuff like it... if that's what he's into, that's what he's into.
If you do want something a little bit more underground, but with good bass lines and melodies, you can find some good suggestions in this thread:

sorry man, that's my bad... just read the original post. Didn't realize that he asked for more underground music. Definitely check that thread... serious hip hop in there...
uhh if you think Lloyd Banks isnt commercial...
well you better look into that a little further.
thats the last kind of hiphop we need. thats the shit that spawns all those fucking poseurs everywere. booooooooo!!!!!
DJ Krush, Invisibl Skratch Piklz, DJ Shadow, London Funk Allstars, etc
now thats hiphop.
dude sorry to burst your bubble..but lloyd banks and co.
well there lyrics suck the big pickle. thats just commercial take over antics n shit. fuck that. they are all about money. as soon as they got there record label, they fucking take over shit and put out clothing, and now they got each of there members putting out solo cds. they fucking suck at rapping too. that shit is baaaaaad.
my as well listen to mollela - desert of love.
sorry if that offends you. but thats not hiphop. thats pop at its best.
thats just my humble opinion of course
well, you keep on writing
"old school pwnz you, commercial teh sux"...
for what?
i don't think he asked for "old school real hip hop we listen to it so it's teh bomb".
ffs dudes...
he wanted lloys banks, g unit's kind of rap \ hip hop..
so stop with the shit
meh, oh well...
Shawnna - Shake That Shit (Feat Ludacris) (Dirty)
Wayne Wonder Feat. Cnn & Mr Lex - Anything Goes
Biz Markie - Let Me See You Bounce
Speedy Feat Lumidee - Sientelo
TOK - Gal You A Lead Remix (Feat. Nina Sky & Beenie Man)
13 - TOK - She's Hot
Nina Sky Ft Jabba - move your body
well, i think this is the stuff you look for...

lol someone from sweden talking about "real hip hop"...
that is very funny.
seriously people, just because something is popular, and sells a million copies and is "commercial" this means it sucks??
so what exactly defines underground rap? and no opinion based answers please.
