[Progressive] Violet Crown Sessions

Started in October of 2004, I introduced my sound The Violet Crown Sessions. In an effort to diversify the
culture of Electronic Dance Music I strive to bring together masterfully produced tracks from today�s great
and upcoming artists as well as many of today�s existing. These sessions combine ambient, progressive
breaks, and progressive house; as well as other forms of Intelligent Dance Music . Each session is roughly
60 minutes of carefully selected tracks determined to show audiences abroad that dance music isn�t just
the music played on the radio, but it�s still very much underground and very much appreciated by many. So
allow me to open your mind to the grand soundscapes of The Violet Crown Sessions�

Glad to see another person using Damien's work. My boy knows how to rock it.

good set again.. just like in your previous one, the first track is amazing and i didn't notice there being a transition into the second track.

Then you need to listen more closely, the chords from 7am actually clash musically with the first track.

Was that a compliment or a bad thing? I thought the two songs mixed really well. The only thing I could change about this mix is the level of the treble. It seems to be low in the whole mix and made some of my transitions fairly noticeable.

Oh, and about Damien. He's a genius in my book. He's a newbie to all of us, but listening to his set recently and hearing all his new productions and happening to have some of his songs, I can say he's phenomenal. He will be on the tongue of everyone's conversation to come and I most likely will put another one of his songs on my next mix on Monday.

I'm a lurker to this board, but I have to come out and say these are two of the best mixes I've EVER heard posted to this board. Loved your choice of chilled-prog tunes and the mixing was clean as can be. The only minor annoyance I noticed was that some during some of the transitions the bass of the next track would be either louder or softer than the previous. Can't wait for VCS003. : )

Am a big fan of 7 AM, great tune! keep up the good work.

The first mix was a very chiling mix, liked the track "broken". The second mix had 3 nice breaks tracks to set the pace for some nice 4/4. Both excellent mixes. sorry for no constructive critism. Looking forward to getting the 3rd mix today .

As for VCS003, my computer is not working so well with my recordings, so I have to do some repairing before I get this next mix out. So what I'm gonna do is on Next Monday, I will post Sessions 003, and 004. Thanks again for all the support.

Steve, keep pushing this sound man, its great, GREAT! Great flow in both of the mixes, very smooth and mezmerizing. Such a great break from ASOT and the usual trancy stuff all over Music Discussion. Good job, looking forward to the next installments!
