Satan (eek!) Enmass - So Please

Ok...wow....just wow....

Sweet vocals...great tune....around the 5:30 mark it breaks down...gives me chills...and then explodes...wow....

Give it a listen http://www.cuepoint.info/09600_sounds/43/179.ram

for the truth, i prefer CQ (Seek You)
but yes So Please is nice too, nice vocal and nice melody

Posted by NRGME on Oct-21-2004 12:11:

I don't know why....byt CQ is pretty plain sounding to me. Alot of people seem to be raving about it though. It's nice, but nothing special. "So Please" on the other hand, now that is special...

Utter crap. Creativity level on this is close to 0, that's how unoriginal and generic it sounds. Reading through their overblown, bloated and self-indulging bio gets even more hilarious their material is as crap as CQ and this.

Judging by peoples reactions, CQ is obviously not crap... It's just you.

Yea if a track is popular, it must be good.

I tend to agree with you on this one, although I haven't seen their bio (yet)... and So Please sounds a lot like Eon - Pocket Damage (credits go to Jantjeuh )

Here's some of it, it's really quite hilarious, especially when you hear the kind of material they come up with:

quote:
EnMass symbolizes the meaning of "all together, as one", encompassing production, development, original compositions, live appearances, and love of the industry. Randy Boyer, AKA DJ RaNpage, and Eric Tadla, AKA DJ Sonar, are a production/development team primarily focusing on progressive dance music. For the past three years, EnMass has composed successful remixes and original productions played in nightclubs and radio stations all over the world. With the combined experience and dedication in the production realm, EnMass can bring a new meaning to the world of music and dance with their cutting edge styles and trend setting beats. Brought together while Boyer was working at a downtown Hartford hotspot, an admiring fanEric Tadla submitted his MIX CD. Impressed by Talda's mixing skills and fresh sounds, Boyer invited the aspiring artist over to record an original composition. Several weeks after their spontaneous collaboration their first record was born: "Not so lonely," which to this day remains one of their favorite productions. EnMass comes packed with a combined 25 years of musical experience and expertise.

With Boyer and Tadla's dedication to their careers in production and music, it will only take them further down the road in the growing industry. "We have intimate knowledge of the trance/progressive industry," says Randy Boyer, co-founder of EnMass. "Our job is to educate industry moguls, stimulate fans, and reach all possible levels of music evolution - all while bringing everyone 'EnMass.'" Always being the style leaders and tastemakers, finding the missing link in the music industry and bringing it to light, EnMass continues to help design and develop the next generation of global, progressive dance music.

Well it's rather obvious isn't it

But this track is total crap, be it a ripoff or not.

rofl...indeed. "...Always being the style leaders and tastemakers, finding the missing link in the music industry and bringing it to light" omfg that's just uproarious!

While CQ tends to sound simple its still a good tune that works.
I want to hear so please tho

Posted by NoisyNeil on Oct-21-2004 17:45:

as already mentioned the melody is exact the same as Eon - Pocket Damage, ... I wonder what Ferry thinks of this :P

It's not even half as good as CQ (Seek You)! Although I believe that both productions are actually quite weak

I'm sorry, the vocals are average, the melody just doesn't seem to work for me and the build-up is quite okay, but not more then that! Can't say I get goosebumps of this one, but it ain't bad or so ...

Posted by djkoolaide on Oct-21-2004 21:00:

Meh, nothing really special. CQ was just "" but this one's kinda "". I give it a 7/10.

Sounds almost as generic as a Tiesto track

While I really loved CQ, this track.. eh.

Don't care for the vocals at all.

Well, let's think about this for a second. 'Good' is in the eye of the beholder. So, if it's popular, then that means lots of people like it, IE it IS good to a lot of people. Secondly, if 'Good' were to be pertaining to the producers themselves, then a popular song is 'Good', because it's going to sell well.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not good. You stated your opinion, don't quash others'.

I loved CQ, this song had vocals that were to fluffy for me. I look forward to their future work.

sub-par track here, nothing special, and i agree, a rip-off of Eon-Pocket Damage

Posted by trancintaiwan on Oct-23-2004 03:30:

Posted by Hanki on Oct-23-2004 14:15:

It's a nice one. Not as good as the "CQ", but also a good track IMO...

Thank you Mr.Obvious. I guess you think that Jan Wayne is a good artist as well since so many people like him.

And I'm not "quashing" other people's opinion, in fact it was my opinion that got "quashed" by someone else.

Posted by vswede on Oct-23-2004 14:51:

lol thats a pretty funny biography... hellllllooo god!
i like CQ though and so please is okay.. vocals are tacky but still nice.

Posted by m0sh on Oct-23-2004 17:21:

Jan joins the list of bitterness in ta hehe

Talking about good or not is stupid becuase we all have opinions...

popular just means it appeals to more people to the mainstream...that's it.

IMO CQ works and I danced and will keep on dancing and hearing it but as if its brilliant? nah

Posted by billboo on Oct-24-2004 08:34:

it reminds me of Tiesto "just be" also

Posted by Bemps on Oct-25-2004 01:33:

I like cq and so please and will play both sides

Posted by djkoolaide on Oct-25-2004 02:36:

Hmm after hearing a higher quality version of this, it's a bit better. Still not up to CQ, but I think I might throw this one into a couple of sets.
