Mike Shiver & Elevation - Hurricane

can't believe there's not a thread on this beauty yet.

The Mike Shiver Mix is easily my favorite tune of the year, it's uplifting, with lyrics of love and vocals by Carrie Skipper which all combine into a smooth, beautiful track.

On the flipside is the Elevation Mix in which you can hear the vocals more clearly and Elevation's style and interpretation on an already awesome track. Not as great as the Mike Shiver Mix IMHO but it's still an interesting interpretation.

I ordered a copy off Juno records and i think more tracks like this should be made. If its cheese i don't know why it would be called that but it's definitely great music i want to have in my collection.

I only heard the Mike Shiver Mix and that really is one heck of a track indeed, and I think the Elevation Mix can't be bad either ...

Any release info?

havent heard the elevation yet though

I've always been a fan of Mike Shiver's productions and this is no exception. His mix blows me away, absolutely beautiful. Elevation mix is also nice, it has a nice, chilled atmosphere to it.

believe it or not, but i like this track a lot

i was able to buy this off Juno Records...here's what info i can give you from their website

LABEL: Captured Music Sweden
12'' Promo >> Hurricane (Mike Shiver Mix) / Hurricane (Elevation Mix)

says 5.80 UK pounds but when i added to my cart, it said 4.94

i placed the order last night so maybe next week i should get it.

Yeah, anyone ordering from outside the UK gets VAT exemption which is why it was 4.94

Indeed this track is very good. Personally I like these piano themes in the middle and vocals are pretty good...Another great one by Mike Shiver!!!

Quality vocal trance

I got a promo copy last saturday from ATS, so it should be available easily now

As said and above,fantastic tune.Mike Shiver's Remix is a great uplifting tune whereas the Elevation Remix is a prog tune.Overall it has everything you can ask for and i prefer the remix from Mike Shiver

mine just arrived yesterday but i can't play it because my styli are warn out and my new ones haven't arrived yet

agree that shiver's mix is better, but elevation did a real nice job 2.
good to see that mike (elevation) continues to put out

I think Elevation is Markus. Isn't it? The Elevation Mix has Markus stamped all over it.

No Elevation is a member here whos name is Mike (not to be confused with shiver) and whos first release was rls with 'markus schulz presents' as markus loved the tune and it helped sell copies

So "X pres. Y" doesn't always mean that X produced the tune?

In other words, Markus Schulz didn't produce either clear blue or largo?

markus is just really helping/supporting him
