Kenny Hayes - Daybreaker (Airbase Mix)

Heard this and absolutely love it. One of my fav tunes of the year so far.

What does everyone else think of it?

Post a SAMPLE or stfu

Posted by torontotrance on Nov-10-2004 01:20:

poor airbase has hit rock bottom, he's remixing cheese acts, I wondered how much money he was offered for this.

Posted by Dave Piazza on Nov-10-2004 01:45:

100 % CHEESE

Posted by Airbase on Nov-10-2004 09:23:

I got 65.000 Euro to make this remix. Would you say no?

i yet have to hear this one, but i'm sure it's quality...

It's really sad seeing all this flaming for Airbase. At first they all said he was cheesy, then he changed a bit his style and people continued complaining for being average (even saw that some people thought that Theme From The Rock was average tune) and now we are back at the cheesy stuff.Anyway i don't really care if it sounds cheesy or not,i haven't heard it to be honest and if it's anything like his Instrumental Mix of Michael Splint ft Sasja - Secrets (Broke My Heart) then i'll surely love it

Posted by Airbase on Nov-10-2004 14:37:

Nah, let them bash me all they want. If thats their peak moment of the day, I would be mean not giving it to them. After all, these dudes arent the ones I make music for anyway, so...

Posted by Airbase on Nov-10-2004 14:59:

And no, i dont make 65.000 Euro, I dont make 6.500 Euro, as a matter of fact, I dont make music for money at all, so cut that crap.

Posted by websley on Nov-10-2004 15:06:

I'm pretty interested in this one. I don't know if it's good or bad cheese, so I'll wait for a while
*Secretly hopes it'll be good cheese*

Anyway Jezper, I'm still enjoying 'Requiem' here! (On Trancemaster 4003) And I'm looking forward to your upcoming releases!

Mmmmmmm, Requiem....
(So Good...)

Posted by Jarjar on Nov-10-2004 15:27:

So, will this get a release? It deserves it IMO.

Posted by torontotrance on Nov-10-2004 15:47:

65,000 Euro..gosh that's a hard question there jezper. I dunno if I'd sellout but that money to pay off my debts and visit brazil and buy some new stuff (well lots of it).

flips a coin

coin says no

Posted by InfiniteSquare on Nov-10-2004 15:55:

torontotrance and the rest of his ass lickers are just jealous airbase...

ignore them

Posted by torontotrance on Nov-10-2004 16:09:

I thought I told you to shut it, who values your opinion around here?

no one

Same as with you then?
Seems all you do is bash music you don't like. I thought you stopped doing that?

Posted by torontotrance on Nov-10-2004 16:38:

nice try there...but no...

You caught yourself in that contradiction! But in all seriousness no one would turn down that much money. For one remix! SHIT, thats a lot of money. Quality or not, its still a job and you still have to pay the bills. SO whoever comes in here yelling "Sell Out" is a frickin hypocrite. No one can honestly say they wouldn't do it for that money. Hell thats more then most people make in a year.

Probably not my style so I won't bash or criticize for remixing it, but good work on scoring that much cash for one remix

Posted by DJ.MD on Nov-10-2004 16:50:

I find it funny that so many people like to bash stuff on this forum. It one person likes it, it doesn't mean you have to. It's called an opinion for a reason. Just say you don't like it and leave it at that.

I like it, I like mose of Airbase's stuff. I for one want him to keep up the good work

Uh, he actually said that he DIDN'T get 1/10 of it...

On his website dummy!

Now I have a chance to listen to it, I have to say I like it. Its drums programming differs slightly from Jezpers' usual style, but it sounds good nontheless. (Would like to hear some more of those vocals though)

I guess it does pay to read through the whole thread. Either way, it must be pretty sweet to get paid to produce.
