hmm his Creamfields mix CD was a nice selection of tracks with decent mixing. Can he repeat the formula for this? admittedly ive never heard half the tracks (and the pop ones ive heard just the radio edits)

hehe sorry! Fixed it.

Anyways...don't know what to think of this tracklist. Dunno if this mix will have too many vocals for my taste but I can't really judge until I buy it and listen to it from start to finish.

4. Madonna - Hollywood (Paul Oakenfold 2005 remix)

This is going to be the most interesting track on the album...

8. PPK - Resurrection

What the hell? A bit out of left field, here...

Posted by Reactic on Jan-02-2005 11:59:

doesn't look too bad. but I don't think this one can beat creamfields!

Posted by MekkaFIN on Jan-02-2005 13:37:

Looks wierd!

Posted by Kato on Jan-02-2005 15:19:

That looks shite. What happened to Oakie

Posted by Floorfiller on Jan-02-2005 15:25:

this looks like more of a compilation of strictly perfecto artists and oakenfold's work. i thought it was gonna be more of a compilation like his other perfecto presents... cds. oh well...i'll of course give it a listen before i judge...

I think people on here are quick to call something bad simply by the tracklist. In most cases I could see where you get your opinions as most tracks on mix compilations are already known, but in this case, almost all tracks are unreleased. Another Oakey thread that is going to go to shit because of ignorant people.

I can't wait to hear what he has up his sleeve this time. This is another reason to disprove all retirement rumors and to just let all the haters know that he's not even close to leaving the scene.

That really does stick out like a sore thumb. I wonder what he reasoning was to put it on here.

Agreed....his set and mixing on NYE was sad.

Posted by Keown on Jan-03-2005 10:47:

Natasha Bedingfield remix was on her lastest single out in the UK here, briefly heard it and it sounded ok but rather pop sounding!

I hope there will be 2005 remixes of these tracks or something, these songs are too old to put them in original version.
