No more AvB - A State Of Trance

"Due to a change in the programming schedule ID&T Radio will no longer be broadcasting Armin van Buuren's "A State Of Trance" radio show. We are currently looking into the possibility of collaborating with another radio station and will keep you informed."

Because I've been broadcasting the show weekly on 2HP.ca Radio (Toronto net-radio station) for nearly a year and I wanted to inform my Toronto/Ontario/Canada listeners.

If you were around a little more than 2 days and 7 posts you'd know this however.

ASOT has sucked for about the past 12 months.

I hope they replace it with a show featuring new up-and-coming artists. Sadly, I think they're just replacing it with cheese.

ID&T is only doing what it must to become a more PROFITABLE organization, just like any other corporation.

Remember, they are the ones that hold the best trance parties in the world, so by boycotting them, you are boycotting Sensation & more...

As much as I love ASOT, I am more than sure that Armin will find a new home for the show we all love...

And as for those that say ASOT turned to cheeze in the past little while, I say you are wrong. Armin doesn't necessarily love ALL the tracks he plays on the show. He plays the newest tunes out there, enabling us to choose what we like.

Everyone has different taste, and he's just accomodating that.

ASOT is not dead, it's just evolving. Just like ID&T.

I agree they need to do whut they need to do to stay profitable and a viable business entity.
