the transformers!

i was wondering if there were any other transformer fans outthere? if so who was your favorite character? mine was jazz for the autobots and soundwave for the decipticons. also does anyone know where i can get the japanese series on tape or dvd? i heard they are supposed to be cool as hell!

I can't believe no one else has replied to this! Transformers kick ass. I had a whole bunch of the toys as a kid...I always liked bumblebee (the taxi I think). The Dinobots were badass too.

The new series is cool but it's too much anime...too far from the original...I wonder if any of the original movies are up for dl.

bumblebee was a little vw bug i think. i know most of the original episodes are online on a whole bunch of diffrent sites. www.transfans.com is a good place to start for downloads or put in the transformers on a search engine.

i used to watch the tranceformers too but it was in french , i don't know if the names are the same ...

anyways my favorite is MEGATRON , he's the leader of the bad robots , he transforms into a white gun

i loved this cartoon as a kid. the originals where they were on earth were cool but my favorite and most memorable episodes are definitely the ones after optimus prime's death and megatron's evolution into galvatron. i think thats how you spell it. anyway i hope you guys know which era i'm talking about.

I used to love Transformers - hey, they're more than meets the eye! aye! I cried for weeks when Optimus Prime was killed in the movie... hehehe....

I was more of a Voltron and MASK guy..... have a lot of episodes of those on tape - bring back memories..... had all the toys to both of these series.

I think the Dinobots kicked ass!!! Didn't talk much but they ruled!!! too bad the series got discontinued. Now all we are left with is anime. Neo Genesis Evangalion rules!

Also MASK was wicked! I thought that and the A-team were the best things in the world when I was a wee nipper.

hey if you guys want the original transformers movie, I can put it up on my ftp for ya to download. But I'm on DSL so the max speed you get will only be 16k. This is the movie with the death of optimus prime. It's in Divx format (703mb) great quality.

yeah. the transformers ruled. i have a whole box of them rotting away in my parents' garage somewhere. they were the best. favorite character was blur for the autobots cuz he always tripped me out and starscream for the decepticons cuz he always cracked me up. the dialogue in those old shows were so up front. megatron always telling everyone to shut up and all. starscream telling everyone that they're fools. my friend owns all the vhs tapes and one day in college before we went on our separate paths we sat and watched all of them in their entirety. that was one of the best days of my life. transported me back in time like 15 years ago or something. damn! the movie was cool. one of my friends used to have the soundtrack but he lost it. that was a damned good soundtrack. good movie too. anyone remember the gobots? that cheap transformer knock-off. they sucked. the toys sucked too. cy-kill...what a whack name. anyways..... nge rocks. if you haven't seen neon genesis evangelion then you should mos def check it out. this is long enough. peace!!!

i keep on hearing u guys talk about the dinobots...they sucked hard.....the constructo bots kicked ass.....heres a little question....what transformers did the constructobots come together to make? what was his name???



my favorite transformers...was starscream(the evil jet that always tried to become the rule of decepticons) and of course optimus prime......



i have the original movie still from transformers.....in MINT condition!!!! not only that but that movie kicked ass it was the only movie were all ur favorite chars die in the first five minutes of the movie.....within the frist ten minutes all the best autobots and decipticons get killed...now that is hype...optimus got beat to hell....

anyone remember the episode where optimus came back to life? but was a bad guy and decided to crash his ship into the sun? hype episode just hype series

Yeah, Transformers rocks, my favourite was the 3rd series.
it has that cool music & intro and the characters were the best...
the "new" Megatron....I think it was Galvatron or something...

if you need movies try kazaa cause there are many transformers episodes

look what you all have gone and done..now ima spend the next days digging thru old toys to find my transformers(they are worth $$$ if in good condition these days..hold onto em another 15 years tho, they will be worth $$$$$ then) and then ill hafta get all the original episodes..I havent ever seen the movie..Optimus dies? man you havent seen the movie? thats like a classic or something. you aint a fan unless you realize they killed off optimus prime like right away. it was a big cotroversy for all the autobots. i really couldnt remember one that i specifically liked cuz i had so many of them, and when you start talking about GoBots things get even more confusing. those were my toy of choice. one of my favs was the space shuttle that turned into a dinosaur/bird thing it was the shit. late/

i cant fo the life of me remember who the constuctobots formed name wise but i think they were actually decpticons. but anyways turbo are you talking about the 4 part rebirth series that took place directly after the movie? that was a great series but supposeddly the best are the japanese series that took place after rebirth. that took place 300 years after the original series. the animation wasnt crappy anime but it still looked liked the original.

I love transformers! Well, Beast Wars transformers. I watched every episode and followed the storyline. Its so awesome! My favorite character is Rampage and his transformable action figure is posing in my shelf.

ah i'm not sure. i haven't seen the japanese series before. the series i loved the most had megatron who turned into galvatron and all the decepticons evolved into those spacecrafts. the whole setting was out in space. i believe it followed up the movie. anyway i would kill to get my hands on some copies of those episodes....

actually i'll try that kazaa thing now....

btw the name of those transformed constructicons was destructicon. i think anyway...lol

also does anyone remember that big huge guy that tries to suck planets up and use them to upgrade his powers? i think his name was orion or something...

That show was gold. I watched that every day for like..5 years... when they took it off the air.. I cried. I mourned.. it was like I lost a childhood friend.
The best autobot: Optimus. No doubt, he rules.
The best decepticon: Starscream..erm.. maybe Megatron..they were both so cool.
Beast Wars/Beast Machines sucked some dick though.. they should have just made more original series..

I have to go with the old tried and true Optimus Prime, not because he's the leader, and not because he's the the greatest Autobot of all time. Simply because he's PRIME! Fav decepticon has to be Starscream though, because he's hilarious.

And here's a little Transformers trivia for you.

Did you know that Frank Welker, the voice actor for Megatron, also did the voices for Mirage, Soundwave and FRED from SCOOBY DOO?

Same here man, optimus prime was my boy.. i was devistated!!

and i cant believe u mentioned MASK .. omg lmao that brings back so many memories. I used to love all those toons, how bout Thundercats?? I think i had every transformer and every tcats toy!

wow, reproduction of the original models???? hm...gonna keep my eye on that. btw does anyone remember the scorpion guy from the decepticons? its one of those huge ones. he was featured in the final series i think. anyone also remember that autobot guy that transforms to a base for the other autobots? he was a big guy too can't remember the names though.

The autobot's big city transformer was called Metroplex
