I like both bands too, I saw APC perform here in Denver over the summer. One thing though, his voice definitely doesn't sound better live, I really don't think many live singers can match their own voice in a studio recording.

But I like Tool more than A Perfect Circle, I like Brena, Orestes, and 3 Libras the best, I think those are their best songs. Tool favorite songs, hmmm, probably H, Lateralus, Pushit, Stinkfist, Schism, and the Patient the best.

Thats just imo though.

cant say ive heard much tool or APC...

from what ive heard, yes, musically satisfying. what convinces me of their greatness is my roommates love for the shit. unf ive moved away from rock as a primary source of quality music|
