Favourite Essential Mixes of all time??

I was just listening to Sasha's first ever essential mix (01-15-1994) and I am amazed at how fresh it sounds, he was shaping up progessive trance/house back in the day as well. Got me to thinking what the best essential mixes of all time are.....

This is a decent thread on essential mixes which is not too old:

For the record, my post in the other thread:

Rojam, Shanghai

Though I would find it tough to leave out Creamfields, and the only reason I leave out Lotherton Hall because Pete Tong was so good that night too.

Among those some of my other all time favourite EM's are:

Paul Oakenfold Goa Essential Mix
Paul Van Dyk EM 1997-04-20
Paul Oakenfold @ Creamfields '98
Pete Tong Cream 6th Birthday '98
Sasha @ Alexandria Palace NYE '98
Pete Tong @ Lotherton Hall '99

You can probably guess, but I started getting into trance music in 97, I discovered essential mix in '98. After 99 I sort of lost time to listen to it for a while and took me a while to get back into trance, so I haven't really listened to any well enough to find any since that I can regard among my favourites.

I would like to add though that Portishead did a great one in '95 if anyone likes that kinda thing.

PVD's old essential mixes are always the shit.. Portisheads essential is off the hook and the scratch perverts essential is essential.

Yeah, I was kinda curious because usually in these threads, all you hear is "Sasha, Digweed, Oakenfold" with some Zabiela thrown in recently. I'll check him out.

Let me guess, you are the kind of person who only listens to one genre of music all your life. You don't have the balls to listen to something different.

The first part of Delta Heavy 2002 (Digweed) is mixed FLAWLESSLY...
