Anything Similar to Involver

I am looking for any mixes that are similar in sound to Involver. Thank You.

Tried some Sasha livesets yet?

Posted by kush paintings on Mar-03-2005 16:45:

No, actually I haven't. That is a good idea, but I would prefer something geared more toward home listening. Thank you for the suggestion though.

Not a whole lot out there that I know thats like involver just another thing that makes invovler so wonderful.

Probably looking for some stuff more on the chillout side. Maybe the In Search of Sunrise series by Tiesto? I'm not too familiar with the chillout genre so maybe someone else can point you in a better direction.

The closest mix album I've come across is Nick Warren -- GU 024 Reykjavik... but even that's quite a bit different.

I'm sure there are others that are more close though.

Actually, Im a huge fan of Warren's GU 24, and I do agree disc 1 in particular shares much the same tone as does Involver. As for In Search of Sunrise, while I enjoy these mixes I am searching for something more progressive. Keep the suggestion comming, thank you.

Try Balance 006. Especially CD 1.

Or even 005 really. Also CD 1 especially.

I love the sound of Involver though, I'd love to hear more like it.

Has anyone heard Lavelle's GUs (from Bucharest and Barcelona)? Are those similar at all? I know they're downtempo... and since he is the UNKLE man, they might be similar, I just haven't heard them yet.

Posted by Danny Ocean on Mar-03-2005 19:04:

they suck really bad, probably the worst GUs.

Digweed Fabric 20 is next to Involver for me...

That's too bad. I love his UNKLE Never Never Land album.

Ulrich Schnauss' Strangely Isolated Place may be a good artist album for an Involver fan... esp. since Sasha uses one of his tracks for Involver.
