Age limits are so stupid!!!

Seriously, they should be more a recomendation or something, i totally dont get it!

Tomorrow i wont be mature enough to go to the Guvernment for an awesome trance party, but in 8 days i would!!! ya that makes sense

and when you are 18 you can die defending your country, but not buy a lighter or alcohol or go into a club...
when you are 16 you can drive a car and kill others and yourself that way, but not drink alcohol...

its stupid and i hate it

Agreed. Those damned age limits!

Man, when you turn 19, you'll understand. The second you do.

It's a whole different world. Your life as you know it will be 100% changed.

yeah i know what you mean, but i think there are better ways to decide who can get into a club than the age, should be up to the club what ppl they take in and which not, it works in many european countries without any real agelimits

After working construction, you develop a sincere hatred for the Portugese community.

100% on this one...its a whole new world when you turn 19+. and trust me, when you're over 19, you don't want to be partying with ppl under that age either.

Same with Cyprus...last time I went over there before last summer I drank tons of beer w the relatives, also it's very easy to just walk into a convenience store and pick some up. I was 12...lol

agreed! hell, when you're over a certain age, sometimes you don't want to party with those who are 21 even!!

anyway, i empathize with you, babe..but we've all been through it (or will go through it). besides...when is the next Ultra Spin?! you'll be legal then won't you

Posted by samhouse on Mar-24-2005 05:17:

like said earlier...
you will realize why once you turn 19...

Posted by zokissima on Mar-24-2005 13:09:

The world changes when you grow up. you become calmer, more retrospective.
I can understand age limits here. Obviously when it comes to an 8 day instance, it is pretty stupid, but otherwise, it's good that they're there. We've all been to all ages clubs before, and suffice to say, it makes me very happy to know that those experiences will never be repeated for me. People are just stupid.
On that note, elsewhere in the world, the general mentality of individuals is completely different than it is here. Europe, South America, places like that, people are raised differently and have a much stronger sense of community and value of life, which young uns here just don't get. So on that note, I sympathize, but this isn't the last good trance party that's gonna be here, so just be patient, it'll come.

Posted by djshan on Mar-24-2005 13:45:

18= legal
17= illegal

2 minutes left to stay 17= illegal
1 minute passes after turning 18 = legal

why dont we all just go to the white house and house of commons and blow the fukn place up? im getting frustrated.

Posted by bass drive on Mar-24-2005 13:58:

on the plus side, it can keep alot of annoying teenagers out
I still got in when I was under 19 though
