Armin's gig list

If you check out today updated gig list you'll notice the supposed may Canadian gigs aren't in it.

may 18 Calgary (Night Club Whiskey)
may 19 Edmonton (Red's Entertainment Complex)
may 20 Vancouver (Plush)

However he'll be in Chicago, so in neighbourhood on may 20 Chicago_(Vision).
So I guess the dates/gigs/money are still being worked out, as it wouldn't be the first time the official list changed after it's been posted OooR he's not coming

it does, however, concern me that may 20th armin will be in chicago while it was announced that on that day he is playing in vancouver. does kraig care to clear this up?

maybe a double gig BT did it for new years eve at tantra.

that'd be difficult considering the distance between chicago and vancouver and the promise that he will play 4 hours in van with our clubs closing at 3

He played there for the last couple of years.
Anyway the gig list was known to change additionaly, but I'm 100% it's not a 'mistake', maybe different dates, that's all.

Yea, just as predicted it's changed now.
Only reason I can think of why they didn't add the canadian dates yet, is money.

you guys need something better to worry about than a dj schedule changing on the internet, those things are always wrong, and get updated constantly

I can't believe how many people stressed out and were emailing, calling, etc over that one typo!

Armin is playing in Chicago on the 21st and he is playing here in Van on Friday the 20th!

BINGO! -- I'm glad someone said it! :lol: Frankly I don't understand why they don't just block off a certain date range, call it a tour and then list the cities. Once everything is finalized, then list the exact dates.

REMINDER: Armin will be playing a 4 HOUR SET this time around. From 11PM till 3AM+.

Armin has come west with the dates not even on his website before. so since it wasnt online, I guess he wasnt really here was he?

But I know how these things work from our party scene here where things aren't so kept hush-hush, infact we just had a Darren Emerson gig gone sour, and organisation Explict Musick (DJ Umek's co.), then went and posted detailed why & how it happened, including how they transfer funds
Anyway but why I even mentioned this is that the dates pass may 20th are on the list, while the canadian ones aren't, and it's not right imho. Although as you nicely posted, dates are subject to change at any time, but that doesn't mean people have to like it.
Specially since someone posted that it's confirmed 150%, so I presumed it was taken care of financially already.

Well although I can't speak for other promotion companies, I can assure you this:

I am the Marketing & Promotions Manager for Twisted. If I say that we are bringing Armin, Ferry, Sander or anyone else for that matter, they are coming regardless of what the DJ's website says.
