Obligatory Tiesto Flaming Thread.
Okay, every forum should without a doubt have a thread like this and if not, well, frankly, they should be shot.
Let's start this shit. The dutchmans tagline:

He's so sad. He's pouring his eyes out because he finally found out sven vath was better than him. Sven then vomited on tiesto which caused further conflicts:

Come on Marcus you used to like Tiesto.....so did I. I don't go hating him though like too many people. I have 2 albums from him that I still love, Nyana and Just Be. I admit EVERYTHING he has made or done resently sucks. However, I'll never hate him simply because if it wasn;t for him even less people would know what trance is. He has brought in and exposed sooooooooo many people to trance, you have to give him credit for that. No other dj is as well known as him, and he's doing a good job of reaching out to other audiences, he played at Athens and has played at Disney World...I think. So purely from the stand point of recruiting to Tas he's a good guy.

I'll admit that I used to like his music, however, the great jedi masters of this board showed me other, better music to listen to. It's alright for people to get attracted to trance with tiesto, this thread is more to show tiesto lovers the next step in their edm evolution.

i've never actually experienced Tiesto. but i've heard that he fucked up a few times on the desk at shows. now i know that everybody messes up from time to time. but being classed as the #1 dj in the world. you'd figure he'd have better skills behind the tables.
honestly i've never bought into the dj rankings. the best sets i've ever experience where from relatively unknown artists. and i'm convinced that this will remain true for ever. plus at huge raves most of people have really no ideal who's actually spinning. unless they actually annouce it.
i think flamming a dj just shows how immature people are...i mean..if you have nothing to do than starting a flaming thread, i guess you should reconsider the meaning of your time and your life....ok, you don't like tiesto anymore, fine...just deal with it and don't be like a 5 year old kid in the kindergarden patio saying to another kid: ahah you are stupid, fat and ugly!
Anyways, i just think those kinda threads are stupid and boring and don't head to anything productive...thank you

The truth is Tiesto isn't that much of a wank, but truly he's not deserved of #1, He's in a cycle now, because he's famous people vote for him, the more people vote for him, the more famous he gets and its back to step 1. His sets suck, his productions of late are ass, but I don't see him out of #1 for a while!

Dah...Marcus, you've seen Tiesto multiple times, and you've loved it! I know it for a fact. Fine, maybe he doesn't deserve to be #1 in the world, I mean his songs are far from the best out there. But Tiesto is pretty much what started my love for trance, and if not for him, I doubt I would've had the desire to discover the not-so-well-known DJs that make trance what it is today. For that, I'll always respect Tiesto, even though his recent stuff has been pretty weak. And what trance addict can deny that songs like Adagio For Strings, Lethal Industry, Just Be, and Walking on Clouds are classics?

As you said, maybe he doesn't deserve to be the #1 DJ in the world, IMO no one does, but he deserves to be in the bests.
