Loft Party Review

This isnt gonna be much of a review, I thought that by now there would be something for me to read since I missed the majority of the party because of school and work.

But for the hour or so that I was there, it was great to see everyone after a big leap of absense.

And Brianna, you said something to me that at the time didnt really have much significance, but as I treaded home I thought about it and it really struck me - you said "You look happy", and I think for the first time in a very long time I am.

Bitchboy and myself got there around 12 and wasted no time getting our drink on. The music was very solid all night. Much props to the Future Progression crew....you guys really know how to throw a party. The crowd was great but one thing that did get on my nerves was the stupid ass glowstick retards that had no clue what was going on. We stayed till about 10:30......by then it was hard to even stand from dacing my ass off all night. It was great seeing everybody out but wtf happened to all the TA's that said they were coming Sergio....glad you came out man....we need to get you a fake ID for real son!!

And many,many thanks to Brianna for organizing the list and working the door along with Adam all night. Even though I wanted you out on the dance floor with the rest of us, Im very thankful you guys kept the party in check. Great work guys!!

I had a blast! Was great meeting all of the TA's that I did. If more of you were there, sorry I didn't meet you. Anyway, thanks again for the great time and I can't wait to see you all at the next one!

And trancaholic, thanks for meeting me at the train station. Probably would have ended up in Boston if I tried getting there alone.

but yea was freakin' awesome. I wish I met more TAs, too. was really wierd, I asked about 20 people outside and around at the beginning who they were and if they were from TA. absolutely none were! I thought it was so wierd, because it seemed like there were no TAs at all...!! but whatever...

the music was awesome all night. honestly, at about 7AM I went in and some trance DJ got on and was just tearing it up. I haven't heard trance in quite some time and after that entire night of prog and house and madness, it was quite a good relief to go in and here some excellent energetic trance being spun... I left a little later tho, bout 7:45 or 8:00... anyway, yea I think that Anthony guy probably has pictures of me wavering around in a drunken stooper

i only saw a few TAs there too!! bree, brian, adam, the other adam, alex, james (doombot) and thero (aj).

avalon drained me of energy, so i wasn't my usual bouncy self but still had a good time didn't get to see the BB shuffle either (fuckin kid, stop gettin so f^&ked up! )

Definately a great party. Except for when Beyer was at Sully, I haven't experienced such a pleasant vibe the time I've been in NYC. As to the music, it was definately awesome, with the DJ who played around 1 am being the best IMO. I told him so later in the evening, but due to the insane volume of the music I didn't get his name - even though I asked him twice
I left at 5 when the music turned towards epic trance, as whining strings and loud volume tore at my eardrums. Needless to say, I ordered some ear plugs first thing sunday morning

Well, at one point you were sitting in the middle of everyone (outside) on the little platform. I was the taller guy (if you can even remember) that helped move ya to the bench. Asked ya if you needed water and you just smiled and said no thanks. haha, ah well... it happens.

if you are only happy because you are now seeing someone, then that's pathetic. you should be happy with or without a girlfriend.

1. Im 21
2. Been partying all year having a ball.
3. Im travelling a bunch (DC, Miami, DR)
4. Im doing better in school.
5. I got accepted to a University.
6. I met someone.

My life feels like its just all coming together.

i was a bit weirded out when i didn't see a loft review after an entire 24 hours.
I got there around 12:30... Woulda been earlier but i had to pee SO SO bad that i got off 4 stops before atlantic ave to pee in my sunkist bottle.
First people i see are Adam and Bree The moment i saw them i got a warm feeling inside. Soon after i moved on into the dance floor and i see someone that looks like joey from the back and someone that looks like Brian just with shorter hair, I wasn't 100% if it was Joey but i said fuck it and started dancing till i bumped into Joey. For about 10 seconds joey ignored me until Brian noticed that it was me, even after that joey was still a bit confused lol it was priceless. Happy to meet Doombot and AJ for the first time. AJ Ur a cool dood man lookin forward for WMC 06
I think that was the first time that i was at the loft and danced so much. My track of the night was a mix of Stereo MC's - Connected that i believe was spun by either 2 dj's before alex pierce or 1 dj before alex. That track was insane, it had me goin non stop.
I made myself a 5 dollar profit too lol, Alex (trancer) knows what i'm talkin about .
I left around 6:00 since i had to work in a couple of hours but it was a good effin party. Only thing i can really complain about is the lack of ta's. From a list of nearly 40 i only see about 10?! some of you have alotta explainin to do!!!

i will write a review after work but i just wanted to note one thing:

the guestlist was utilized and worked well but when i arrived @ 11pm and got the door, the glowstick rave kids were already there. no one could tell me how they got in already. i couldn't really kick them out but i did ask them to ditch the glowsticks. next party has a no-glowstick rule.

regardless, i was pleased overall and i think there are great things to come. the music was the best ever and david scott gets a big fat GOLD STAR.

What do I mean? I mean I don't like it when cracked out raver kids are winging around glow sticks. i.e. Watching Jay doing all his funky stuff with the sticks - its nothing that incredibly special, but hes good at it, its his own style and its fun and funny to watch.
