who remembers fun factory close to you? pure lactoid

Posted by Peter Campbell on Nov-28-2001 09:48:

Snap - rhythm is a dancer and Jam + Spoon - Right in the night
are classics, its the reason why I listen to Dance music now,
these songs are a part of history

most of the dance music the charts now is cheese, Vengaboys
and the rest

LOL, I was also a fan of eurodance earlier, groups like 2 Unlimited, Twenty 4 Seven and so on were my favourites.

BTW, have you guys heard the Rob Searle Mix of N-Trance - Set You Free? Gr8 tune!

Capella - You got 2 let the music (93)
E-Type - Set the world on fire (94)
Corona - the rhythm of the night (94)
Maxx - Get away
Cool James & Black teacher - The rhytm of the tribe (94)
Baby D - Let me be your fantasy
Sash - Encore une fois (97)

it's Mark Van Dale & enrico - waterverve

Damn, this thread brings back so many memories. I believe I have all these tunes that you guys mentioned so far. I used to spend so much money on cds, the days before napster and mp3s.

Don't forget:

Fun Factory - Close to You, Celebration
Real Mecoy - Another Night, Automatic Lover, Runaway
Hadaway - What is Love
La Bouche - Be My Lover, I Love to Love
Sash - Ecuador
Taboo - I dream of you tonight
Jam & Spoon - Right in the Night
Banarama - Every Shade of Blue

Hmmmm, I think I'm gonna pull out my Fun Factory CDS and blast it again LOL. That's a good idea to make a cheese mix cd. I'm going to rip these songs and use Traktor to see what I can come up with.

hmmm some1 set me straight on this..y does every1 call almost everythin cheese...i get the feelin that just cos a track goes into the charts and ppl have heard of it worlwide that it is "cheese"??thats just stupid..that would mean veracocha,rank1,picotto,cygnus x etc r all cheese...ppl seem not 2 have their own opinions on a track if it is seen as "cheesey"...my point is....the love parade is 1 of the all time gr8s imo as is sash - encore une fois as previously mentioned...how r these cheese? i would call like vengaboys (and only even some of their stuff),atb, dave pearce mixin type cheese...i think 2 many of u take this 2 far probly just me?!
