Sorry if this has been answered already somewhere else... but just hoping someone can confirm these 2 @ Circus this Friday (June 10). I know originally Derrick Carter was slated to be on the bill as well.. as far as I know the other bookings are still a go but I haven't seen a flyer yet for it and the Circus web site isn't updated.
need a techno fix dammit 
plus.. I *love* Charles Siegling.
can't fucken wait.. I would prefer to see these 2 at another club but i'll take any techno bookings we can get at this stage. 
hopefully get a name or two that passes by Toronto for Canada Day weekend.. rumour mill has Dave Clarke playing @ the guv.

but I mean.. he plays Montreal what... 4 or 5 times a year it seems? at any number of venues.. never worried I won't see him again soon.
I'll be pretty pissed if Siegling doesn't end up playing.. 'cause IM, Sasha & the rest really ain't my thang.. and i am in the mood to party... F1 crazy weekend style!

I'd also like to derail my own thread a bit to point out in July it will have been 2 years since Carl Cox played Montreal. He is one of a handful of djs that actually warrants an 'annual' trip to these parts... here's hoping we see him in the coming months! I don't care who books him.. just somebody do it already! I nominate Labour Day weekend in September. 
3 big techno headliners at the guv on the 30th, 2 more are in the process of being booked...

I really want to put the info on my site and update the calendar, but damn, June 7th, nothing on the circus website, nothing anywhere....
I know that the place is full no matter what, but why is it so long to get the line-ups?
They seem to do good bookings recently, and we can even promote because we just don't know.

anyway.. I started this thread because *I* want to know what the heck is going on.. my roomie talked to Micheal, who was the one booking Siegling.. and as far as he was concerned.. everything is still a go and he was surprised there was talk otherwise.
we shall see.. Obviously Aria will be packed for IM, and Circus will be busy regardless.. but if Siegling is cancelled I'll be pissy.

anyway... this isn't some flyer kid shooting the shit here.. it was originally his booking there to begin with, I have no idea how that place works... wouldn't surprise me in the least people are confused.
- but they should definitely update their site!! or do some promo.. I haven't seen anything.

I am hoping for Clarke > Liebing though... but Liebing was better at Swirl than the last few times I saw him (since his WICKED 6 hour set in July 2003)
I can do without Marco Bailey, but at least he might get booked.. I doubt we'd see him here anytime soon.
