What is your EDM evolution?

What would you say is the edm genre that you identified with most for that year? I like to see how musical tastes evolve as time goes on. And it's ok if your tastes hasn't changed since day one.

2000: progressive trance
2001: progressive trance
2002: anthem/uplifting trance
2003: progressive trance
2004: melodic progressive house
2005: dark progressive house

but this doesnt mean its all i hear i also loved since 04 tribal... now im liking that loungy stuf of howells... etc its hard to put every kind u like.. but those that i posted were mah fav. taht year

2001: trance,progressive ,tribal
2002: dark house,tribal...very little trance
2003: progressive,tribal,Nu skool breaks
2004: progressive,tribal,Nu skool breaks
2005: Nu skool breaks mostly ..but i mean i listen to a bit of everything..give me a good beat and clean production and i am there
2006-Take me to the sound

Look at this noob. Everyone listed solid trance for 3 years and the best he can do it "techno/trance" for 2003.

What's funny is my first ever show (and other subsequent shows) was Sasha & Digweed at Twilo and the stuff they were spinning bored the hell out of me. Sometimes even a pill couldn't lift my boredom. Oh the irony...

it's all about the Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, and of course, Fatboy Slim.

they got me into EDM

I listened to Prodigy & Underworld back in 96-98 not knowing what type of music it was. I remember hearing Orbital - Halcyon On & On from the "Hackers" movie soundtrack and fell in love with it.

The bleechers, the Phazon sound and the concentric lights around the huge disco ball made Twilo great. I miss the uber darkness of the club, the glowstickers that knew how to move, and the cracked out Asians on the bleechers. LOL. The heat in that club sucked nuts though. I always picked a spot under a fan to dance.
