First Gig 2nite

doin a warmup in a pretty big club (by Belfast's standards) - only playing for like an hour so the promoter can hear what im like live (i sent him a mix CD and he was impressed.) if i do well 2nite, i get a residency

i'll be back on later to tell yas if it was a happy ending or not!

it went great, a few minor mistakes with the levels but no mixing blunders.

the clubs DJM600 was broke so they pulled out a Nuo Ecler5 which ive never used b4. wasnt used to using a mixer that had no channel LEDs so it took me a while to get used to setting the levels correctly.

was a great night and i really enjoyed myself. only problem is ive went from a trance lovin bedroom DJ to a funky house club DJ lol

so long as you got them moving on the floor....when u finished your set was the floor packed or not

not really because i was playin from 9-10 so there were only a few dozen ppl in the place.

the guy already knew i was good but he didnt want to hand me a job until he seen me mix in a live environment.

can't wait to rock the crowd next month
