White Label Euphoria: Republic

Not sure of the release date for this, but quite frankly I don't care. I want it!! The last two White Label Euphoria CD's have been awesome, I love J00F's refreshing blend of psy/prog tunes, and this looks to be another CD of the same calibre.

After hearing about his boating accident I hope this CD sells well, to show that the fans support him nomatter what. Anyways, on with the tracklist:

CD1:

Cell - X-Press Morning
Incolumis - One With Sanctuary
SBK - Nightfly
RPO and Thomas Penton - Perfect Storm
Alex Stealthy - The Way It Shouldn't Be
Super8 vs DJ Tab - First Aid (Perry O'Neil Mix)
Bjon Small - In A State Of..
Chakra - Opacity
Lish - On The Edge
Violet Vision - Cellophane (Sub6 and Domestic Mix)
Delirious - Innerface
Sub6 featuring Michele Anderson - 7th Son (Ticon Mix)

CD2:

12 Moons - Analogue Haste
OOOD - Free Range
Tikal - Welcome
Whirloop - Blue Objects
The Digital Blonde - Requia
Wizzy Noise - 10 O'Clock
MFG - Shining Faces
Astrix featuring Michele Adamson - Closer To Heaven
Electric Universe - Supreme Space
Indica - Visions Of Tomorrow
Astrix and John '00' Fleming - 3rd Time Lucky

Get well soon.

listened through both CDs last night. And the final result is better than I thought. I was first doubting some tracks but it works out really nice.
The highlight on the first CD are RPO & Thomas Penton - Perfect Storm, Chakra - Opacity(!!!), Sub6 Feat Michelle Anderson - 7th Son (Ticon remix)

and on CD2 12 Moons - Analogue Haste, The Digital Blonde - Requia(!!), Protoculture - Magnetic.

That Chakra tune on CD1 is banging. I hope it gets released soon.
There are much more psytranceoriented tunes on this Whitelabel than the two previous ones. I love psytrance but two much of the israeli full on sound can become boring.
But there are good tunes enough on both CDs to make it stand out compared to any compilation today.

Worth every penny

i only had time to sample the first half of CD1 but it was wonderfully blended and mixed! props to John 00 Fleming. tomorrow i'm going to listen to both cd's more carefully but from what i hear so far this feels like it will be a massive compilation.

don't like First Tab (Perry O'Neil Remix) though...i thought that could have been left out but so far i'm liking CD1.

WTF those months progress so quickly, it's allready the 29th of august again . Damn you How's the new Ricky Smith Rebel ?

And what about that boris blenn track does it continue in the same full-on style as his latest "Cosmic Experience" album or more the "Unify" style ?

Where the hell did you get it from ya bastard?? Promo?

Edit: Not accusing you of anything, but I've just noticed the albums been ripped and shared already. Thats fucking disgraceful, whatever idiot did that.

Didnt like the sample in this tune. "IN A STATE OF" so gay.
otherwise a cool tune

Is that the unknown one from GTG 25, or is it a different one?

havent heard GTG 25
lots of unreleased Digital Blonde material. I wonder what plans J00f have for all tunes. Hopefully a DB album or something.

Posted by THE_Chris on Jun-30-2005 10:36:

DB album is confirmed

If Requia has female vocals in it, then its the one from GTG.

This might be the first trance mix in years I'm actually going to give a listen.. I'm starting to somewhat appreciate Fleming's sound (especially the harder edged tunes) so I guess at least CD2 should be worthy of a listen.

I'm quite turned off by the fact that Perry O'Neil is on it though

I'm bit confused R., with Boris Blenn I was refering to the new Electric Universe - Supreme Space not Bjon Small - In A State Of..

Or does the new Electric Universe also have a sample: "in a state of"

Some elements in the one from GTG 25 remind me bit of legato, quality tune tho

Haha I wouldn't worry, last time he put Darren Tate vs Mike Koglin - Now Is The Time on "just for a laugh".

Posted by RebeL9 on Jun-30-2005 13:35:

yeah Requia got female vocals. sampled from some movie I think

oh my mistake on that one. I thought you were refering to the Bjorn Small tune. No the Electric Universe tune is nice!

WOW such fantastic cds specialy cd2

and the new Digital blonde

I Cant get enough of this cd and I hope John gets better soon

cheers

tbh this is what we've waited for a long time, and even with the gen release a while off, it's going to be the best 'trance' mix compilation simply due to the time that goes into it, it doesn't look rushed like many

i like that tune

Posted by shades_of_gray on Jun-30-2005 21:37:

this looks quite interesting....probably much better than the other pap out there, and im a big fan of Joof (get well soon) so when it gets put on the shelves i will probably buy it....and if i dont like it i can always send it back and say the disc's scratched and get my money back

Posted by Cru54d3r on Jul-01-2005 15:11:

i think the two tracks with Michele Adamson spoil this otherwise good cd .. especially closer to heaven .. that track really sux .. commercial psy cheese wank with vocals .. disgusting

the whirloop and digital blonde tracks are quite nice

Posted by THE_Chris on Jul-01-2005 16:26:

Yeah I hate that new Astrix track. I know that'll be the weak point when I finally hear this.

Posted by Elior on Jul-01-2005 17:29:

Heh, I guess I'm the only one who liked the 'Closer To Heaven' track...

Great, great album by j00f. I really hope I could buy it in stores around here...

Posted by LiquidX on Jul-01-2005 22:25:

Posted by Ste on Jul-03-2005 10:02:

So did I, but I'm not sure it had a place on that compilation. Still, it shows he's got a sense of humour lol.

Whats funny about this thread is that everyone who says they love it has downloaded it And with the label on the rampage, this could get interesting

label on the rampage ?

Anyway, I know that most of us here will buy it, I'm not in a position to buy everything, I have to choose just the ones I can afford, and stuff like this will always be on that list due to the pure quality.
