Groove Eric @ BLUE 7/1/05 FRIDAY NIGHT Edition Review + pics

WOW. Crazy, intense night. A GREAT turnout and nothing but hard slamming tunes all night long. They added a fog machine, some fancy lights and even a horn to compliment this prelude to the Holiday Weekend Edition of "The Fix," and, despite the fog being a little choking, the night was just energetic and slamming. Tunage included:

Terry Bones - When they Come
Gerry Cueto - Bad Color
Signum - Back At Ya
Mr. Sam - Lyteo (Rank 1 remix)
Sayla - Majestic (Arizona vs Passiva remix)
Naranja

TAs from all over came, including Jackie (Persephone) from Palm Beach! Nice to see you make the trip down! Harold and Renzo dropped by, Natalia is walking around without crutches, I hope you're feeling better, querida, and thanx so much for the CDs. Koky, Ingrid, Relik, Gerry, Doug, Maribel, Ambs, Miriam, Candy, and even Manny came by for a while and put on his dazzling light show. Flip and Toni showed up as well! Nice to see you guys again! Mr. Miami Mike Warren and Felicia too! Eric's sets get better with every gig. Keep up the good work, brother.

Highlight of the night: Funk was just a little TOO drunk tonight. He knocked a blonde chick's drink out of her hand and wound up having to buy her another one. Not to mention, he was crashing into people left and right. You gotta watch the dancemania, brother, you're gonna hurt someone! (You stepped on my foot! ) And Roxxia showed up as well, but left quite unexpectedly...?

Suckage of the night: Damon couldn't make it down due to work issues. You were missed, bro! I hope you come down soon, I still owe ya a 4 pack of Red Bulls from WMC!

had a blast last night. only on 2 hrs of sleep, but well worth the lack of sleep. lets see where 2nite takes us.

when eric needs support he definitely gets it with members from all 3 boards showing up to party. the only other local dj that does that is edgar v. and that says a lot about eric sorry couldnt stay as long as i wanted but it was good while i was there.

damn you melissa! but i'll wait for him @ space cuz.....

From what I briefly remember of my short night, due to unforseen circumstances, let's just say me and Blue have a bone to pic...
anyways....

It was great seeing the few people I did, and Eric, if u are reading this, I was looking so forward to hearing u throw down some serious trance..
Circumstances arose however..will try again next week..

I got to the beach to late but I was going to stop by. The line outside of Crobar was rediculous so I had to go in through the side.

You all know I love trance but the fact that I had never seen him and it was FREE made me wanna go. I don't diss on dj's I've never seen. If you give him a chance you would probably like him too. There is no other dj that interacts with the crowd like he does.

The only good thing about it is that those peep actually stay on topic and talk music, no offense but the SETA forum sometimes gets out of hand with the topics they start, they are like useless, and im not excluding myself, i do admit in starting shiet around here, but ive stopped, but some members here are still playing around with useless thread here. but w.e other than that, those peeps in are BORING AS HELL!!! To be honest with you i careless if DA sends that to the Admin, he dosent even have to bother i could send that to Swamper myself. This is a forum and its your duty as a member to let the admin know about your concers, so he can approach the problem efficiently and make this a better forum. Those who cares about this forum would know what im talking about, i dont think im the only member here that thinks that sometimes things here get out of hand. If an admin bans one of its members for expressinf his concerns about the forum, that would be a critical action, because it would give a negatice image to the board itself. 1. It would show that your opinions are worthless.2. It would show what whent it comes to giving your opinion, make sure that it has to be a good one to please the admin, and your concers would be found as useless. 3. It would violate your rights as a member, especially freedom of speech. We hold in our hands, the most precious gift of all: Freedom. The freedom to express our thoughts,art( my sig,lol) Our love. The freedom to be who we want to be. It thats not allowed here im sry but i think im in the wrong place, and some on you maybe.
