A&B this weekend... or NOT! :( F*cking HELL!!!!!!!!!
I just had a MAJOR COMPLICATION in my ability to be able to attend the Above & Beyond party!!!! 
Turns out I lost or had my wallet stolen on Tuesday!
I cannot find it -- I have terrorized my house turning it upside down looking everywhere for it.
That last place I recall having it was at The Pita Pit here in town, and after that, no idea. It is not unlikely that I may have somehow left it on the counter there and someone saw it and took it.
I am not so much concerned about my lost cards and shit! Or even the money that was in my wallet -- the money was not a huge sum and the cards are simple enough to cancel and replace!
It's the fact that I now more than likely have NO fucking ID for this weekend! Holy mother of Jesus Christ!!
What am I gonna do guys! Faaack! I have some options (I think) which *may* or *may NOT* work....
I have my Birth Certificate still.
I have my Passport (but it was issued in 1993 and is expired. The picture in the passport is of me when I was like 12 or something -- not a very good image to use as proof to verify I am who I say I am... it looks NOTHING like me anymore (and let's not forget that passport has expired nonetheless).
I *may* have an old G2 licence lying around at home -- I'm going home to check at 6 when I'm off work. That ID coupled w/ my Birth Certificate and/or my temp. licence I'm getting tomrrow MAY work...
I may also have an old UW student card lying around at home -- but the image is from first year, back in 2000/2001, and that's if I can even find it at all!!
I spoke to Karim and he referred me to "Travel Cuts". They said they can make me a "USE card" for 16$. I just have to find a recent photo of myself to bring in for them to use. They said they should be able to do it in a couple minutes (godwilling). So, if I can get down to the location on Yonge Street when I get into Toronto on Saturday morning, then I'm okay! They're open 10am-3pm. That card w/ my name and picutre on it coupled w/ my Birth Certificate MAY *hopefully* allow me to get into Guv. OH GAWD I HOPE SO!
Guys, that's all I fucking got. I dunno what I'm gonna do! I hope to hell and heaven that SOMETHING works out, because honestly, I think I'll kill myself if I cannot make it to Above & Beyond! I NEED this! I need to hear/see them live, I need to experience them! I've been looking forward to this -- this is a massive blow to me if I'm fucked outta this event because I lost my wallet! Goddammit, Jamie, why did you do this to yourself! 
I am not very happy currently.
Trying to remain as calm as possible and not freak out at myself! This is the most un-goodly thing I can imagine at this moment in time!
HELP! Ideas, support, ANYTHING, drop me your 2 cents....

old g2 and birth certificate should work.
my sugestion if u cant find that, get your ass to the ministry of transportation and get a new licence in the mail so you can go to labour of love!

Passport, Old G2 and Birth certificate will definately work. This friend of mine lost her wallet aswell and we showed up at the GUV with her birth ceritficate and passport photocopy and let the bouncer know what happened. They let us in, no worries...

no health Card???
birth certificate and something with a picture should work - I have been doing it for years....

You can get a "proof of age" card from the LCBO, im not sure if that has a photo on it, i think it does; but its worth looking into if youre stuck

I just had a flash back or like deja vu or something.
I have a wierd feeling now that this happened to me last aug. just before summer rush too... that i misplaced my wallet. im not even positive it happened, but as im looking at the Proof of Age card page you linked, i had this wave of deja vu hit me, like id been here before... doing this last year maybe? could have been the year before or even the one before that... i dunno!
i cant remeber if i just stated my case emphatically to the bouncer who checked me and they let me thru with whut ID i had with me, or if i had gotten lucky and found my wallet before i left for TO.
i dont even know if the above even happened, its just this case of deja i seem to be having in the back of my mind as im viewing this LCBO page..........

It's telling you to go buy a shitload of booze at the LCBO.
Damn that sucks! I can only imagine ur frustration.... don't bother with travelcuts coz their ISIC card doesn't work at clubs... i got a fake age put on it in 1st yr before I was legal n no bouncers took it... so i use it to card my door when i get locked out LOL :P

You should be good with a G2 and birth certificate. Its not like you look all young or something and are trying to sneak in under age. You look your age, the bouncers will be good with it, no worrys I dont think.
Hope you find your wallet though just because of all the crap along with it.
Damn Jem, this is horrible news. I hope you can work something out, brutha.
