Read This! Quote of the Day!

Well i decided to create a thread dedicated to quotes. Well some of you might we like wtf is this guy thinking but i just feel that it would be nice to include in the SETA section, a thread dedicated to quotes, some might find them inspiring and others might have just a good meaning, and just make you think for a while.

Here are my quotes:

Subject-War

"You can't say that civilization don't advance, however, for in every war they kill you in a new way."

Will Rogers, New York Times, Dec. 23, 1929
US humorist & showman (1879 - 1935)

Subject-Enemy

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."

William Blake,
English engraver, illustrator, & poet (1757 - 1827)

Posted by nchs09 on Jul-24-2005 23:33:

" here is my lake.. we can go fishing and stuff."
"oh ya, OR we could get fucked up."

only quote worth reemmbering.

He isn't afraid to die,
He is afraid his soul might not make it back to God

Starbuck - Flesh and Bone - Battlestar Galactica (2004)

If that's the best there is, then I want nothing.

I wrote a song about dental floss but did anyone's teeth get cleaner?
-- Frank Zappa, in response to Tipper Gore's allegations that music incites people towards deviant behavior, or influences their behavior in general

If you suspect a cat has injected cat eggs into your child, take him to the nearest pediatrician and demand he take your baby away from you

Not all of those are quotes per se, but I find them all funny

Dude Friedrich Nietzsche is one of my favorite philosophers, another good quote by him is when he says" Did God create humans?, or did humans create God?" makes you think

"In heaven all the interesting people are missing."
Friedrich Nietzsche

"The visionary lies to himself, the liar only to others. "
Friedrich Nietzsche
