what cell company do you use?
So I want to buy a new phone and contract and really wondering what company people use and think about their services.
Im looking at Telus bc there offers are exactly what Im looking for... but now Im wondering how about connection, and signal
Which do you guys find to be a better deal.
this is an endless debate and subject to a lot of personal opinion
instead, i'd go here for info:

I'm with Telus, i've never ever ever had a problem with their connection and signal. I've made calls from inside T.O -- outside T.O, on top of blue mountain, only when i'm in a town called "Tiny" is there an analog signal.
Never had a problem with their customer service either.
Bad side, per minute billing, phones are less to be desired.

Bottom line is this:
It doesn't matter what everybody else uses. It matters how, when you are going to use your phone and what you requirements are.

I'm taking it up the bum for sure!
<-- July $148.90 (low month)
Happy with the service I get.
Work pays my bill and my wife's is tax deductable.... so I couldn't give a shit what they charge me.
BTW, the only charges I've ever been hit for outside of my purchased services are long distance charges.... which I get quite a bit of (one of the downfalls of living in a different calling zone then the one you work in).

I'm with rogers now. I took my moms phone and she had the best number on the planet. She never used to recieve too many calls to begin with, so the switch was relatively easy.
But now my brother got a job for Bell Mobility, and they offer family plans to employees at sweet discounts. But I don't wanna give up the # I got with rogers.

I'm with Bell. Not the greatest, but my contract is almost up, so I'll have to see what they offer nowadays.
I have Bell. Loving it too, i got a pretty sweet deal with them ,and a really nice phone @ $35/mth, include taxes and it's around $38-39.
And with that i get unlimited weekends, 200 weekday minutes, unlimited nights, and 20 free weekday phone calls to my "preferred" number (which is to a rogers cell phone hahhaa). Also free bell to bell calling and free long distance calls within Ontario for the first 3 months.

is there an amount of time that you have to be with fido to qualify for that? I just got my fido phone, but already lost the battery backing at a&b @ guv, So Im looking around to getting a new handset.
(even tho I got this one free from a friend. I have to get a hold of him and see if he has any more to replace this one)
Telus is not GSM so not very good/compatible with the rest of the world/traveling
I was with Bell til their billing restructuring fiasco...I switched to TELUS and I am VERY happy with them...My monthly bill is WAY cheaper then Bell's and the Telus customer service is awesome
