Ever been buzzed @ work??

Daaaamn!
Talk about going out for a late lunch...ending up at H(.Y.)TERS,
and gulping 2 pitchers of Amber Boch while talking shit with
my co-worker!

My boss thinks "I'm energetic" after this lunch.
Ever happen to any of you???

done it once before... took some cold pills then had a long island at the bar while i was waiting for my tacos. i got back and i couldn't walk straight. i think it was the combination of being sick + cold pills + a stiff drink on an empty stomach.

my co-worker comes in drunk every single day, and leaves during lunch to go drink more at home.

i've taken painkillers at work quite a few times but it kills my creativity.

My boss lets me drink a beer or two at work...but that usually ends up being 5-6...

1 or 2 is ok. But drinking more and working in the afternoon semi-drunk totally sucks!

I should quit my job, it's starting to cut into my drinking.

I've gone to work before on no sleep and still feeling the effects of the night before.

Wait, are we just talking about alcohol here?

It used to be fairly common. However, I was working in a bar.

yeah almost got fired... boss smelled it on me said go get a mint!

i'm drunk at work right niow..... muahahahahahah

Drunk no, but last week I had to go to Austria, where people seem to eat out and have a beer (or three) and some wine for lunch everyday.

my mate once got drunk on the school bus, he was about 13 or 14 at the time & the 6th formers (17-19) shared it with him. We had a really loud day & the head who was like hitler in a skirt shouts "Do you really want to come back and practice standing still at lunchtime"

guess who shouted "yeah why not" at the top of his voice & got us 1 hours detention for 170 people

I've gone to work on E many a time....not good when you are sitting behind a desk all day.....did a lot of work though.

next time I think I will stick to crystal

i've came in high numerous times and have came in with a buzz a few times.

I usually come into work drunk every Saturday morning. I have to start at 7am and am never sobered up from the night before. Certainly makes things interesting for a bit, which is then closely followed by pain and despair.

I have to work through hangovers and blowing fumes on more than one occassion (hell more like every few days), but never drink on the job. The old boss got used to it. The new one can as well or kiss my ass...

we had a going away party for the head of our technical/service department..bout 100 people gathered in the conference room..

and guess who they put in charge of the champagne?

so after all was said and done, there was about 30 of those break-apart plastic champagne left.. so me and the building services manager (around 60 years old, awesome guy!) just Chugged the shit out of all that was left.

i know, i'm such a lightweight. couldn't walk or talk straight for the rest of the day. took a nap at my desk and shuffled around the rest of the day. (a good 4 hours of drunkeness to nicely buzzed to able to drive safely again.)

I remember about a year ago I was working at a call centre, I was very knackered and come down after a heavy night. Engaging people in conversation was hard enough but I was coping until I answered a call from this one woman who decided to launch into a 45 minute TIRADE against the company, her old university, the government(!) and of course yours truly.

...lol, I love people who blame the first person they contact for the entire company's doing.

I used to have nightly 40 night with a friend at a major US retail store, which involved not eating anything for dinner, drinking a 40oz Steel Reserve in 15 minutes, then going in and being unproductive at best. We did some stupid shit, but it was fun

I've come in quite a bit buzzed or still drunk from the night before, it's not so bad...typically makes it more enjoyable, just don't be too crazy from how you usually are and it goes fine.
