How much RAM do you have???
just for kicks, how much ram do you producers have in your comp. i personally have 1.5gigs.
omg no 128
my comps MAD OLD
512 on the house computer and 256 on my "studio"'s one...
My main 2 ataris- 4meg each (thats fully expanded- which was a lot back in the day)
Editing ataris- 0.5meg (standard 520stfm)
Sudio Pc- 256
just for giggles- my Akais: 32meg (s3000)/20meg (s1000HD)/1.25meg (S950)
This Pc has 512- but its not in the studio
512
did have 1gb but 1 stick was faulty after some time.
definatly get another mainboard for support of a quicker FSB!
512 DDR
I have 3 512 sticks, but I can't use one because it conflicts with the other two. I'm gonna put it up for sale on ebay.
384 MB of SDRAM
2gb..I don't think I need any more

2 Matched 512 and 2 Matched 256 Sticks running Dual Channel (not that I think it makes much difference) giving me a total of 1.5Gig
4gb on my main pc
and 2gb on my laptop
so more than enough i think
Wow, how can you people do anything with 512 or less?
I've got 2 GB on my DAW and 1 GB on a slave machine, and it's still not enough!
1024 MB

)
in my current project I have something like 30-40 wav samples, 6 vsts, 2 fl generators and 3 soundfonts. not much, but hey, I can produce sound with it
and I'm planning to buy a new computer at last..a brand new Athlon 64 X2 4400+ on a DFI LanParty nF4 SLI-DR with 1GB OCZ DualChannel Platinum Rev2, an Audiophile 2496, an ATI AIW X600pro 256MB PCI-E (not sure about this gfx yet) and a Western Digital 250GB HD SATA2 KS.
ahhhhh..........what an upgrade it'll be...
8 gigs
I am just dreaming

Haha, I have 192MB. About time to upgrade
Although with not too much crap on my computer it appears to work just fine when running FL Studio 5 for me (except having more than 3 instances of z3ta+ running, which totally crashes it). Got tweaking utilities that helps too, lol.
I have to wait for my student loan :/
