I don't know if this will help, but basically I don't try to fall asleep until i'm almost asleep if that makes any sense?

rarely takes over 10min for me! and i'm never tired except in the morning when i've just woken up and i can sleep whenever i want! that's why it was easy working night/day/evening shifts on my summerjob, because i was never tired and slept when it was suitable!

Posted by UnBracKo on Sep-08-2005 17:12:

not more than 20 minutes

Posted by shades_of_gray on Sep-08-2005 17:45:

for sure within 0-30 mins in the week, as ive had a hard day at work,

on the odd occasion it mite take me hours to drop off, especially if i have something on my mind

Posted by Sunsnail on Sep-10-2005 00:38:

It really really depends on whether I'm tired or not. If it's 1am+ i can usually sleep within 1 minute or so. If its 9-10, it could take up to 30 minutes

Posted by Nayil on Sep-10-2005 02:29:

31mins - 59mins

Posted by dchaves on Sep-11-2005 02:53:

Normally, I don't need more than 5 minutes to fall asleep, but if I'm worried about something, it cuold take me up to 1 hour or so (I can't remember any time that took me more - I'm a lucky one )

Posted by gurra on Sep-11-2005 14:38:

If I'm tired it just takes a few minutes.

Posted by Phil r on Sep-11-2005 17:36:

depends....

on a normal 'school' night I'm usually as good as asleep within 30mins.

if I'm back from a club at 9am or just tired early evening i can drift off in 5 minutes accidentally.

if i've got lots on my mind i can be wide awake an hour later

Posted by Fundamental on Sep-12-2005 14:08:

I'm rubbish at sleeping.

Posted by metalgearsolid on Sep-13-2005 14:46:

it usually depends as to how tired i am. Usually two or three hours

Posted by Salegon on Sep-26-2005 16:21:

Well, it depends on how tired I am and on the things that are on my mind when trying to fall asleep.

it's 5-360 minutes, in general it takes me 40 minutes.
