Thats right bitches! we just owned your Victorian asses! What about the swans! Down by 15 three quarter time and then kicked 7 straight to completely demoralise the Saints.

just watched it over too many beers with the boys

the swans took the free kick count in their stride and pounced early in the fourth quarter. hudgeton in the first half was good down back. kirk on the ball played very smart and o'keife on the half forward line dominated.

unlucky saints. will they be there next year?

possible retirements include harvey, gehrig, thompson, peckett

jones wont have the legs much longer either.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Sep-16-2005 13:50:

did you get drunk soups? were there tears? if it were me there wouldve been tears

i def want the swans to win it over adelaide or west coast.

Posted by Ghostface on Sep-16-2005 14:04:

holy shit what did the swans have to drink at 3/4 time? I want some.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Sep-16-2005 14:27:

seeing as though there'll be a lot of distraught st kilda footy players, i reckon dunefield's mum is in for a busy few days.

Posted by sLiCk_NiCk on Sep-16-2005 15:52:

oh not montagna and milne on the loose again

Posted by ONION on Sep-16-2005 23:54:

Saints dont have a decent backline it seems... they rely too much on their midfield to deliver to riewoldt and gehrig... so that their defence isnt pressured.

Swans midfield-defence outsmarted, the saints classy midfield... The game was won in the coaches box

Ok i admit i basically cant stand the swans, but it will be just great that big faghagbagman barry gets a little holiday for the grand final. You cant just go whacking oppo's in the breadbasket barry, surely Rooooooooooooosey taught you that much.

Swans for PM!

didnt get to see it, but lovin every moment of it

Swans vs Eagles.

I'm happy with this matchup, should be a pretty good game, even by GF standards.

Posted by 00soups00 on Sep-17-2005 09:35:

didnt get to go to the game, or watch it as i did the boyfriend thing and went along to an event that night instead. had a good time, and was well blind... took a walkman and tuned in at every opportunity, was excited and then went out side and they kicked 3 goals when i was listening.. my heart sank..

very proud of the boys this year though... Harvey needs to play one more year. If all those names retire, we might be well and truely fucked!!

pkc - there was no tears, but really only because i couldnt have much emotion wrapped up in the game via a walkman.. which was probably a good thing

Eagles will prolly smash the swannies next week, but i would like to see them win..

well done Sydney..

I hope Sydney get hammered next week. I don't like West Coast but I f&@%$ng hate Sydney. Though it would be good to see Barry Hall have to watch Sydney win from the sidelines.

feeling mutual

I can't believe how much has been made out of barry's little tap on that pussy defender. Even a soccer player would be embarrassed by the performance he put on.
amazing how much the swans dominated the last quarter when the umpires put their whistles away after getting walloped in free kicks for the rest of the game.

Do ppl in Syd even follow the swans or does their fan base suddenly increase at this point of the season?

I always cop it for not backing a Vic team... carn the bloods

Even if they get slaughtered next weekend, I'm impressed they got this far.

yeh true maguire went down like a bag of bricks but on precedent alone, bazza's gonna be close. his history of striking wont help him either.

Nope, i've been a swannies member for the past 2 years and have been following them since Barassi took over the reigns. Alot of credit must go to the great man, and of course Roosey for sticking to his guns even when the criticism were flying thick and fast. Thats the way to stick it up to them!!

GO SWANS!!!

Posted by OLi_A on Sep-18-2005 04:48:

i must admit i jumped on the bandwagon during the finals series the last time they made the grand final, but have been a steady supporter since then. but back then there wasnt too much exposure and i was a massive rugby union head
