Worst lineup in history

You see this is why I turning more and more against Ireland.

Look at this pathetic godskitchen lineup. They do two big events per year and theyre always shit.

Godskitchen Dublin (30th October 6pm - 1am)

Armin Van Buuren
Ferry Corsten
Eddie Halliwell
Lisa Lashes
Fergie
Above and Beyond
Robbie Butler

Tickets: Euro 42.50

1) The lineup is atrotious
2) Although its the best youll get due to stupid laws here, the 1am finish is dumb
3) 42.50 is a ripoff for that.

Anyone else think its pretty shit?

Ferry Corsten & Eddie Halliwell makes it worth

Posted by kr00t0n on Oct-04-2005 11:31:

lol @ at the times and price, and who the heck is Robbie Butler?

Posted by THE_Chris on Oct-04-2005 11:43:

LMAO yeah the general club closing time is 2am here (stupid time), but with the location of the venue, any event there has to finish at 1am for noise restriction reasons (stupid)

Posted by torontotrance on Oct-04-2005 18:48:

the guvernment in toronto has had some terrible lineups in the past and they won't top their 5th anniversary and everything aroudn it

2001 mind you

ferry in late sept
tiesto's godly performance at koolhaus on oct 6
paul van dyk's performance like 4 days later

deep dish played oct 7 I believe

Posted by punjabi on Oct-04-2005 19:06:

being an underage (not 21) american, i'd be more than happy to pay that price for those DJs.

Posted by THE_Chris on Oct-04-2005 19:35:

Yeah the event is 18+ so youd be ok

Posted by Dan1584 on Oct-04-2005 19:36:

Armin Van Buuren
Ferry Corsten
Eddie Halliwell
Above and Beyond

Those 4 are worth seeing. Not exactly the WORST line up ever. Pretty far from it actually.

+1.
No offense, but anyone who thinks that Halliwell is part of "the worst" needs their ears examined. Also, I'd love to see Above and Beyond, as they haven't been to NYC for a long time, if ever (I've never seen them)

The main problem that I see with the event is that there are 7 DJs and 7 hours. If everyone's in the same room, only 1 hour for each of them sucks. I agree, the 1am closing is a major drawback. Give the 4 above another hour each, let the party go until 5, and it'd be a lot better.

Ultra NYC was a few weeks ago and there was the same problem with the party not going long enough, which is why I skipped out of paying $65 USD for 5.5 hours of music.

Some of you seem really spoiled and don't realize how lucky you are to see these people period.

Posted by maz1980 on Oct-04-2005 21:16:

Armin, Ferry and A&B worth seeing. Not a fan of Halliwell, far too banging for my liking, and some of his little scratching tricks aren't what many wanna hear in a mainly trance line up. Can't fault the lads ability mind but just not my cup of cha!

thats a killer line up to a gig especially AVB,Ferry,A&B
only drawbacks are the ticket prices and the 1am shut down.

Posted by Misanthrope on Oct-05-2005 03:24:

I'd still go.
I know this sounds gay but I would like to have an early start and early night.
Anyway, leaves more time for drinking at home.

Jesus, I'm getting a bit sick of your shite to be honest.

That's one of the best Godskitchen lineups in a while (I know that isn't saying much). AvB & Ferry B2B a couple of years ago was part of the best clubbing night I've ever had, and Halliwell tore up the place last November. For trance-heads Above & Beyond are alright too.

Fair enough, Lashes and Fergie are pretty poor, and Robbie Butler just does an hour warm-up (he's an Irish DJ that runs Redbox in Dublin btw), but just because there's no J00F/Nu NRG doesn't mean that its necessarily a rubbish line-up.

I agree with you though with the joke of a price and the ridiculously early closing time, but beggars can't be choosers.

I'll definitely be going.

[Didn't you do a "worst line-up ever" thread about a year ago too? ]

Posted by Fresh Prince on Oct-05-2005 09:39:

I'm just happy to see that the general public of TA is finally knocking down the likes that mock every Armin or whatever thread.
80% or more people here agree it's a good night, so you can pathetically print this thread and post it on your wall to remind you
of your faulty way of thinking.
