Live Set Recommendations?

Ok ok I'm new here so if I'm posting this in the wrong section, my apologies.

I'm new to trance, some friends introduced me to it not too long ago and I have to say that some songs are quite amazing. The live shows are great because the first couple that I've listened to just made me wanna jump around and dance all night. Some of my favorite sets are Yoji Biomehanika @ Sensation Black 2004, Johan Gielen @ Trance Energy 2004, and Tiesto Live @ Trance Energy 2000. I downloaded some more sets but I've been getting some stale ones. So can you guys recommend me some live sets that are really upbeat and dancable like the ones I already like? Thanks~

If you like those you'll like Tiesto-Dance Valley 2001, Mysteryland 99, Homelands 2002. Oakie Cream Amnesia 2002, PVD live @Giant 2000, PVD Amsterdam 2003. Just to name a few

Seems like you like some harder sets, so I'd advise some Nu-NRG sets. There's one on the TA downloads page for starters and another that I have is Live @ Gas 10-16-04.

Additionally, try some PvD sets, like Trance Energy 2003, Nature One 2004, his 2002 Essential Mix from Columbiahalle 7-13-02, and Live @ Amnesia 8-16-02

Yeah, any of this Essentail Mixes from '99 are amazing. My personal fav is the Home @ Space in Ibaza edition.

Almost all of those are available here on TA with fast download speeds. All very good sets too.

download the sets here at TA.. PvD (energy 2003 especially) and NuNRG ones for sure

+1 Great set.

Another suggestion is some of the new Eddie Halliwell sets. His Essential Mix and some of his Residency shows are all that I've actually heard, but I know set recordings are out there.

Sorry mate, I don;t want to dissapoint you, but if you are going to meet oakenfold this year, it's not going ot be any similar to his 99 Mixes, I saw him Last year, and I was expecting a Wonderful night, but it was Just average.

I used to said, before I die, I want to Experience Live Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van DYk, DJ Tiesto.

Tiesto & Paul Van Dyk where Great, but Oakey dissapointed me, I guess it was to late to Experience the Oakey sound back in '99.

Anyway if you haven't see him, I would go there to experience it myself.

i have all the 99 essential mixes for oakey, u can get them at djmixes on the bt section, but it takes a bit to get access if u don't already.

Oakey's Essential Mix 1999 World Tour is available on the Mixing Bowl if I'm not mistaken. The latest Oakey set I heard was Oakey's Orange Hours, which was overall good. Most of the reviews of "2005" Oakenfold in this forum are usually negative, but I sometimes hear some good reviews; for example, Oakenfold @ Crobar NYC a few months ago. Well even if I was dissapointed by him I still get to see pvd 3 days after .
