[TFST-NYC 025] Presents : 2yr Anniversary/FINAL Party @ SEHO -Sat. Oct. 22nd 2005
whats up everyone ~ next saturday night, october 22nd come celebrate our 2yr Anniversary @ Seho ! which also happens to be our final night there.
its been a pleasure, to say the least, to be able to do parties there for the last 2years and a big portion has to go to all you guys, the supporters. i wanna thank each and every one of you for taking a part in this underground movement by being open minded, caring and loving and dancing your asses off each month since we started the residency 2 years ago.
to briefly explain, the management is leaving the venue and will be complicated for us to do events there.. even if it were cool, i feel that we had our run, and its time for us to move on to bigger & better things. this, i promise you all.
dont get it twisted, its just our final party @ seho, not our final party ever. =P we'll be back in full swing before you know it.
but in the meantime, we wanna end this shit properly.. so i ask anyone whos been to our monthly in the past, from all the regulars, to ppl whos only been to a few or even just once, to come represent one more time TFST style.
and to those who hasnt checked us out yet, you still have 22nd to look forward to.
and not only is it our final night there, its our 2 freakin year anniversary. i am proud to say we've been rockin it consistently for the last 2 years and we've done it with the least amount of bullshit to conflict with the party goers. and at the same time focus on local talent whether its our artist or friends or friends of friends that need exposure. in other words, a tru unification with like minded individuals sharing the love of music.
we aint hop in and hop out, its about longevity and pushing quality with consistency and 2yrs has gone by doing so. on the real, not many 'promoters' can say they've been rocking it every month for 2 full years without the intention of making a chunk of profit [we've NEVER raised the cover charge its always been 5 bux since day one] so on that factor, i am very proud and happy.
so come out and party it up with us, hopefully for full 6hrs and i promise you all that you absolutely cant go wrong @ a TFST event.
ok enuff with talk the talk, walk the walk will be seen on the 22nd.

I heard some rumblings this might be the last party at Seho and I am sad to see the place go.....love walkin down those stairs and openin up the door to all that great music and people. I can honestly say I never had a bad night there.
Tae although it is not the last party for TFST....thank you for a great 2 years (well almost 2 years for me). At times this was the only party I would go to the enitre month. I felt I didn't need to go anywhere else.
I will be there for sure....
damn man, dreaded this day for a long time now.....we're gonna shut this place down proper though!!! I'll be one of the last headz standing again...

I will try my best to make it to this, but being that I am flat broke it will be very tough. No matter I am sure it will be a fantastic night.

i will be there - and will be celebratin for my 26th birthday at it is the idea - bday is the 25th of Oct. - it fell on a tuesday this year - ahh well - i should be happier than my usual scorpio self at this one - still it'll be a lil bittersweet if this is the last one at seho - i loved a lot of the "little things" at seho - especially the downstairs area - u feel away from the push and pull, and the overall controlled chaos of the streets of manhattan down there and also parking for sure everytime in the essex st parking lot, hope to see the whole bunch there on the 22nd, laterz,

Wow Sounds like it's gonna be the party of the year! Congratulations to you all, I'm sad I never got to check one of these parties out but I promise I will be there for the next stage, bigger and better! Have a fuckin blast!!

This last party will definitely be memorable.
P.S. We should have strippers at the last Seho party to spice it up. Make it happen Tae.

THIS WILL BE LONG FOLKS!!!!
This is truly an event to remember. TFST has been that one special place for a bunch of us to go to to escape from the drama and bullshit of the scene. Somewhere in which we are able to spend the night doing what feels right, dancing to our hearts content, and not having to worry about being judged or dealing with people who were there for the wrong reasons. TFST was and still is a great party in which you can be comfortable to let yourself go. To get as mangled as you please, or not whatever the case may be for you. No one will judge you, no security to worry about which gives you that freedom feeling as well makes you want to respect them back.
For a bunch of us this party was started by a close friend (me included). Tae and his wonderful and beautiful girl Acko, but mostly Tae. Tae spins like nobody's business, na dis one of the friendliest mofo's I know today(for those of you that know me I am a social whore and know atleast 300 in the scene). So me saying this about Tae is something special.
He has always kept the party about us (the fans or what ever you want to be called). He always kept the party cheap so that even when you have no money at all, 5 bucks you could easily come by and go out and release all that crap in your life and dance your heart away. TFST @ Seho was the place where new talent was discovered, and many people spun not for the money but for the feeling that the audience was intune with your every move and knowledgable enough to tell you what was good and what wasn't.
Many of us are going to miss this party as it was something special to us, as you can see. TFST @ Seho will be missed, but we are also looking forward to the next place as well.
From all of us, Thanks to Tae, Acko(sp?), Dan, all the DJ's who ever spun there, the staff at Seho and anyone else who may be involved in one way or another (which is all of us). And thanks to all the people who took a risk and came to an event to try something new.
There I told you it was gonna be lengthy. Forever in our hearts:

I will try my best to finally go to my first tfst @ seho event, and last tfst @ seho hopefully not the last Tfst event in general though. Btw The flyer design is really nice and good luck to the future of TFST !

Folks, I honestly don't get out much so if I don't have a gig at Avalon that evening, I too will be making an appearance at this event. I know NOTHING about TSFT or it's members but from what I can gather, nights like this just don't seem to exist in NY anymore. I tried desperately for 2 years to create a warm and friendly atmosphere through what I perceived to be good music at Avalon, but I simply could not accomplish what the TSFT boys seem to have done. This just looks like a night of great music, positive vibes and a friendly atmosphere where all attitudes are checked at the door.
To all those reading this thread and post, try to make it out to show some support for a night like this. I'll even sweeten the deal: I'll buy a shot for everyone who's smiling, having a good time and out on the dancefloor. How's that for creating a positive vibe?
i'm am really gonna try to make it out. i've only been to 2 tfst so far.. and both were nice.
